Introduced in the Florida House on July 6, 2009, the Firearms Freedom Act (HB-21) seeks to provide that specified firearms, firearm accessories, and ammunition for personal use manufactured in state are not subject to federal law or regulation in the State of Florida.
The bill is sponsored by Florida State Reps OToole and Plakon. They follow in the path of Montana, and Tennessee who have already passed such legislation. And they join with Utah, Texas, South Carolina and others who are considering it in an effort to limit federal regulation of guns, and specifically invoke the 9th and 10th Amendments as restrictions on federal power:
the regulation of intrastate commerce is vested in the states under the ninth and tenth amendments to the United States Constitution, particularly if not expressly preempted by federal law. Congress has not expressly preempted state regulation of intrastate commerce pertaining to the manufacture on an intrastate basis of firearms, firearms accessories, and ammunition

IYAS9YAS,
Wife and I travel quite a bit and when we go to different towns we try to go to microbreweries. They are so very different each and every one.
Any way in many states you can purchase a “Growler”. A half gallon jug and have it filled with your favorite.
Cept here in Florida the major breweries paid off our corrupt state legislature to make it so you can’t take homw a growler.
Monopolies are so much fun.
Just bought an 870 and then got an 18 inch barrel and then a pistol hand grip.
Slug, centurion, slug, centurion
Kids got a Saega auto load
Man, I’d hate to have to try to break in here.
No NO,
Crist just got married soooo he can’t be queer.
And I am tall dark and handsome and I wear size 16 shoes.
Hey Frantzie,
That murdering crazy Janet Reno lives here too.
GraceG,
ATF is but one of many many federal, state and local govt agencies that should be shut down and it’s employees deported.
Yo, mojitojoe,
Hard to tell who is the pitcher and who is the catcher?
AAABEST,
Nice painting on your about page of CHRIST ascending to the heavens.
I like buying from private individuals and NOT dealing with ANY authorities, legally in our state.
I think we have liberal laws to allow us to protect ourselves from so many transients from the north.
I know I was able to when I was 18 and in the Army.
To funny Travis McGee,
I know what you mean as I live here in south New York.
Ever since the Mets moved their spring raining to Port St. Lucie my little corner of the world has attracted a disquieting percentage of former new yorkers. Great.....
She is an evil evil woman.
No way Frantzie, She is the toast of les beans throughout South Beach.
Put all the employees of these agencies (BATFags, DEA, EPA, etc., etc.) aboard a liner, tow it out to sea and then sink it as target practice for the Navy.
If the pistol grip REPLACED the shoulder stock, remember that the recoil with slugs and buck will be VERY high - keep your wrist straight and “locked”! Also remember that the BATF considers such a shotgun to be a hand gun, for purposes of sale to those under 21. I know it is wrong, but they do.
I understand and thanks.I’m not geting rid of this one.
I’ve shot it and keep it locked to my hip.
Swing around is incredible, probably `8 inches shorter than when I got it.
NOt nearly as bad a kick as my single shot./
“Good. Now go for the same language concerning micro-breweries and wineries and distillers who also produce only in state and sell only in state.”
The gun-rights movement and drug legalization movement have a lot in common on the states’ rights front
right? no. i’m just pointing out that the government is already doing it.
