HUGE mistake.
They had very specific, highly-recognized brand identification.
Of course, their standard “Big Snake Monster” movies are killing the network.
Now that BSG is gone, they’re back to crappy monster movies.
Better off if they’d pick up old 1970s Sci-Fi, when originality was still a part of the game.
I loved that one, too. Maybe someone could start a favorite Twilight Zone thread. I have several that I really loved.

even their version of BSG was dummed down liberal tripe. The end was unwatchable environwackosism.
Very true about the former SciFi. They are monster de jour channel and are hardly anything of substance. It USED to be you could count of them for some thing of value. Now it is lower than low budget should have been straight to dvd junk.

The new BSG was probably one of the most influential and popular science fiction series OF ALL TIME.

I’d be willing to bet that it beat Star Trek’s original series ratings.
I never saw the “environwacdkosism”, but too many people were all wrapped around the axle about a female Starbuck. Even Dirk Benedict couldn’t help himself.
Keep BSG, keep some of the original stuff (I liked “Taken” and REALLY, REALLY liked “The Lost Room”).
Ditch snake monsters.
Can the ghostbusters.
Shoot all ‘wrasslers’ on sight.
