Guess which utility bill just went up via new taxes here in NYS....ALL OF THEM....

Pennsylvania has been sending around “Use Tax” forms where you are supposed to declare anything you purchased without paying Pennsylvania sales tax. Examples are “services” or items purchased off the internet where no Sales Tax was charged.

They’re asking you to go back several years & calculate interest as well.

I guess that they figure that enough companies or self-employed individuals will pay “something” for this to be worthwhile. Other than that, it’s a giant fishing expedition.

WTF? Where do they get off swiping what they deem as abandoned property? How does this belong to anyone but the property owner or their heirs?

I guess the Magna Carta, the Virginia Constitution and the US Constitution no longer matter.
