I hope Greenpeace doesn't get mad when we tell that that there's been no global warming since 2001, and now we may be in a cooling trend...

These enviropiggies need to be lynched for their desecration of this American monument. It’s all about envirogreed. They’ve got worthless college degrees in envirostudies and are looking for government grants and “jobs” to set themselves up for the future. This is a disgrace.

Now THAT is environmental degradation.
The whole mountain should be fumigated.

Progressives started the slide away from freedom in the United States. I have a very low opinion of TR.

A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education.
Every immigrant who comes here should be required within five years to learn English or leave the country.
Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorius triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.
The man who loves other countries as much as his own stands on a level with the man who loves other women as much as he loves his own wife.
The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life.
Clearly a president that had terribly socialist ideals.

I’ve never been to Mt. Rushmore. Does anybody know what kind of breach this would involve? Fences, signs, etc.?

Sorry, but TR quotes do nothing to say he wasn’t a progressive. Between him, Wilson and FDR, we were damn near sent down the same path as the fascists in europe. We probably are already there, just several decades later.

The popular election of Senators ended the last vestiges of Federalism in our system. The imitation of European imperialism put us on a path to being the world’s policeman. Roosevelt as a man was admirable; as a leader he enshrined the progressive view in the American public mind, wigged out, quit, re-ran as a third party, and ensured the election of Wilson, who allowed the tragedy that led to WWII by not standing on his stated principles for handling Germany after the war.
