Obama’s Honduras hypocrisy explained in one simple paragraph
I hate the Media ^ | July 7, 2009, 3:00 am | None stated

President Obama can’t speak out in support of Iranian protestors fighting for democracy, but can speak out against Hondurans defending their democracy.

Here’s how AmericanThinker.com explains the Honduras situation in one short, but brilliant paragraph.

“Imagine that Barack Obama announced that he was going to hold a referendum on legalizing a third term for himself. Imagine that even his attorney general, Eric Holder, advised him that it was illegal. Imagine that the Supreme Court ruled that holding the referendum was unconstitutional. In spite of that, let’s imagine that Obama coerced the FEC into holding the referendum anyway. Then – let’s further imagine — we found out that Venezuelan strongman Chávez (who has pulled off a similar power grab in his own country) was financing the referendum. What should the Joint Chiefs do in such a case? And if they removed Obama from office, would they be destroying the Constitution or preserving it?”

Honduras is much closer to home than Iran, and I also Totally Mistrust the U.S. Media.

The Demonstration pictures are of Pro Constitution demonstrators, not those wanting the ousted Pres. back.

Let me remind you what is going on in this country.

Missouri National Guard Train to Kill “Militia Insurgents” in Exercise
Text size

Infowars
July 3, 2009
The Missouri National Guard is training to engage in combat with “militia” groups, according to the News Tribune.

“During the battalion’s annual training exercise, eight members of the Jefferson City-based unit, acting as a fictitious militant group, attempted to disrupt the battalion’s operations through attacks and harassment. The battalion’s other two units, the Kansas City-based 205th Area Support Medical Company, and the Springfieldbased 206th Area Support Medical Company, fended off the attacks while performing their medical duties,” the newspaper reported on June 30.

National Guard training in Missouri and South Dakota prepares soldiers to confront and kill “insurgent” Americans.

The article was written by Silas Allen, a journalist with the Pentagon. In 2006, the Pentagon officially announced it would declare psychological warfare on the American people by planting propaganda in the corporate media and the Allen article is a less than covert part of this process.

An earlier article written by Silas Allen, also posted on the News Tribune website, details a Missouri National Guard unit practicing basic convoy operations during a training exercise in the Black Hills of South Dakota on June 14. During the exercise, an “insurgent group” with “a reputation for harassing convoys with ambushes and improvised explosive devices,” attacks the Guard convoy. “The unit was also told to look out for civilians trying to approach the convoy on the battlefield. The civilians could be working with the insurgent group or could simply have a legitimate complaint,” Allen writes.

The two exercises serve as prime examples of an orchestrated attempt by the government to train soldiers to militarily confront domestic “militia” groups.

In April, a leaked DHS report on “rightwing extremism” said “right-wing militias” will recruit veterans returning from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. “DHS/I&A assesses that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to exploit their skills and knowledge derived from military training and combat,” the report claims. “These skills and knowledge have the potential to boost the capabilities of extremists — including lone wolves or small terrorist cells — to carry out violence.”

The corporate media hyped the supposed threat posed by “lone wolves” after white supremacist and probable government operative James von Brunn allegedly attacked the Holocaust museum in Washington. “The lone wolf is what concerns the Washington field office, what concerns the FBI the most,” John Perren, head of the counterterrorism branch at the FBI’s Washington field office, told the Associated Press.

After Von Brunn’s brutal attack, the corporate media shill and government disinfo operative Glenn Beck attempted to link 9/11 truth activists to the deranged accused killer. The corporate media has attempted to link truth activists and patriots to the Von Brunn incident and an earlier one in Pittsburgh.

A report produced by the Missouri State Police, entitled “The Modern Militia Movement,” specifically characterizes constitutionalists and Ron Paul supporters as domestic terrorists. “Red flags outlined in the document include political bumper stickers such as those for U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, talk of conspiracy theories such as the plan for a mega-highway from Canada to Mexico and possession of subversive literature,” the Missouri Information Analysis Center report states.

That explanation is pretty much what I understood from the get-go.

IMO, this is mainly about cocaine trafficking.

Honduras is a narcoeconomy.

Obama is a Marxist dirtbag thug, dressed up in a phony, glib veneer designed to fool the ignorant.

Obama and his marxist posse don’t have much time to install this guy and change the Honduran constitution. Zelaya was up for election in November and it all has to be done before then if they hope to have any success.

Here is a wonderful chance for the GOP to start throwing up roadblocks.

“And if they removed Obama from office, would they be destroying the Constitution or preserving it?”

Since he can’t prove he’s a US citizen without a legitimate birth certificate, by kicking obozo’s a** to kingdom come the intent of the US Constitution, an idea that many have died to preserve, would remain intact, and the rule of law would prevail.

Yes, I read the “stupid” document that was distributed to MO law enforcement by Homeland Security.

I know the turf in MO. Have been to Jeff City many times. One of my favorite places to stop is in Tipton, at a Mennonite bulk food store. Best spices I have ever found.

The exercises are really dumb exercises. If Homeland Security has to worry about terrorists, they should focus on the problems in the Northeast cities when the Unemployment runs out in a few months. The “good old boys” who are involved with militia’s will not be terrorists.

I hate the very idea of local law enforcement wanting to play military, they generally do not do it well. The mentality of Civil Defense folks.

If we cannot contain the Communist assault in Washington, by State 10th Amendment efforts, and or public disobedience of stupid laws. We will see State governments involved. I could see the Militia’s helping state government in some instances. I do not fear my neighbors. Washington is another matter, but the last attempt at occupying TX did not work out that well.

The “lone wolfs” mentioned are generally friends not enemies of our Nation. Lots of Vets who love Country.

Our Military will not round up the citizens. There are enough “oath keepers” formal or otherwise to prevent that.

Could there be a split at the State level over this? Not probable, but possible. Depending on how far “off the Reservation” the idiot bureaucrats in Washington go.

Patients, observe, prepare, stay sane.

God Speed.

“IMO, this is mainly about cocaine trafficking.”

It may be at the top, I do not know.

I do not think the demonstrations in the street are supporters of the narco traffic. Honduras is different than some of it’s neighbors. We have had mixed success trying to play in Central American politics.

The U.S. people are known as being some of the best in the world. Our leadership has not always been trustworthy allies there. With the current “Imported African Leadership” the train has totally derailed.

Everyone knows the mess we are in. We can help no one until we help ourselves out of this mess. In other words “kiddies you are on your own now”.

Iran is a big, nasty country with lots of oil and terrorists to export, and protectors like Russia and China. Honduras has no oil, no terrorists, and no big, nasty countries to protect her. In addition, Honduras has ticked off Venezuela, which has lots of oil and alliances and/or substantial trade agreements with Iran, Russia, and China.

So if you're a pusillanimous thug from Chicago, whom would you choose to pick on?

RE: Narco trafficking, I should have been more specific.

I meant that (a) wholesale coke seizures (from crashed planes) have increased about 5X in the last several years, and (b) it is rather widely discussed (if you look for it, though not in today's American MSM) that Honduras is or soon will be a narcoeconomy.

This should certainly be factored into any discussion of support for Zelaya (and Chavez for that matter).

I did not mean the regular people in the streets, necessarily, although the alleged support for Zelaya in the streets could be paid support - narco support - for all we know.

Why do I feel that Honduras is our wakeup call? Bloggers know the real story there, but the MSM is following the Statist attitude.

I need to find some Honduras products to buy on the way home tonight.

The "American Thinker" isn't. The Joint Chiefs would have no constitutional or legal authority to do ANYTHING.

In the end, it would be up to Congress to defend the constitution by impeaching the President.

Or possibly, the FBI to arrest him. There is no way in our system of government for the military to have anything to do with it.
