A number of us here have been predicting such.
Sowell is brilliant as usual.
Too bad more black Americans weren’t like him.
A crying shame.
Too bad more white Americans weren’t like Thomas Sowell. If they were, Obama would not be in the White House.
Also true, but black conservative intellectuals without a race-baiting bone in their body are so rare, that Sowell stands out like a glowing gem.

Unfortunately after him, the mold was broken and tossed out. I love that mans brain, respect his life’s story, the way he has lived it and the difference he obviously want’s to make in all of our lives.Too bad his not younger.
However, after what I have learned over the past two years, there’s only a handful of Blacks that I would trust now, or even spend time talking with.
It was said that Obama would set race relations back by decades... he did, and continues to do so.
I am now convinced, more than I have been during my 60 years on this planet, that if racism is to ever be turned around, it will have to be the Blacks that pull it off.
Some will argue that we failed, some argue that we never tried, but a good many Whites have been trying to tell Blacks that they are free, have been free and will stay free, since the beginning of the civil war... at great cost of treasure and human carnage.
If one looks around, it is easy to see that successful men such as Dr. Sowell, a patriot, didn’t spend their lives living in a daily ‘I am still a poor slave’ fantasy.
Instead, they lived by a set of principles, high ideals and may have even believed in God more than some preacher that wears what looks like a dress or a clown costume, screaming, “God Damn America”.
I want it clear that I don’t hate anyone just because of the color of their skin, but I am all done caring about it... it’s THEIR turn to find a way to me and those like me. In todays climate, that’s going to be extremely difficult.. if even possible.
Sorry for the ramble, but your simple comment got me going. ;>)

Indeed. I am finding it easier just to wake up in the morning hating everyone... it saves time, it’s probably more fair, and I don’t worry about having left anyone out.
