Does God hate the GOP?

For a party that is supposed to be the American Hizballah (Party of God) the GOP sure seems to be incurring his wrath.

Is Sarah Palin a lightweight, politically inept, or crazy like a fox? Only her hairdresser knows...

Mark Sanford? Is that bum still around? Don't cry for me Argentina...

Papa Bush wasted a 92% approval rating, falling victim to the Clinton smear machine. All George W wasted was a once-in-a-century opportunity and trillions of dollars. Of course, it was the Bush-Cheney gang versus the entire MSM smear machine by that point...

Show me a conservative Democrat, and I'll show you a liberal enabler...

Say what you want about President Obama, but he's never been accused of having a "wide stance," chasing after male pages, or cheating on his wife. While the party of family values leaves a lustful path of destruction, a liberal family man has won the White House.

Are Republicans capable of understanding that the press hates them, and then adjusting their behavior appropriately?

That's Holmes. Your self-described coolness is still in question.

Actually, it's "Homes," as in short for "Homie" or "Homeboy."

You're the one who called us the "cool kids." We're just having fun with you and you seem so uptight, you can't even recognize it.

Lighten up, Francis.

From Baghdad, I would expect one to contemplate the fate of an unquestioning true believer.

I'm not from Baghdad, dah-ling; I'm from Texas. I just happen to work here.

I am not here to live up to your expectations, which is a good thing, because I really don't know what you are talking about.

I've seen the results in many different countries, including Iraq...

Really? From which part of Iraq have you been observing? Since you appear to be lacking in humor, I can't imagine you would last long here.

...and it should give any thinking person pause.

If you are implying that I am not a "thinking person" simply because I do not share your jaundiced approach on life, then perhaps it is you who should be engaging in more contemplation.

Good answer. Thank you for an actual substantive reply. I know you're not from Iraq. What I meant to say was, anyone who travels around and lives in other countries, such as Iraq, gets to see a very messed up side of life that many here in the States just never get to see.

I don't hate Sarah Palin nor do I love Barack Obama. I just think conservatives should expect more from those who represent us.

And I have never made any such accusations of you. I completely agree that conservatives deserve much better representation.

You know, I recently found out that salty pretzels dipped in peanut butter are pretty good.

Admit it, you went for a midnight snack, found the cupboard bare of all but peanut butter and a partial bag of pretzels. Why else would you try that weird combination? ;-)

Soft pretzels are da bomb, though. Especially dripped in butter with a little powdered sugar sprinkled on top.

That sounds really good.

I lived in Philadelphia for a brief time when I was a youth. I loved the soft pretzels you could buy on the streets with a little spicy mustard on them.
