You are correct in your analysis.
There are no names or url’s, not even any decent hints.
While believable due to our suspicions about the attacks from the left on the right, so far the author has given us absolutely nothing.
Sounds a bit like a load of BS to me.
I don’t think the media would be so heavily and maliciously arrayed against her if it was only Romney people who were the source.
It’s time for a new party made up of conservatives and traditional Americans who don’t want to be on the rat plantation NOR the pub plantation. Both parties are top-down organizations with secretive, wealthy elitist rulers wielding big sticks.
Kristol did out somebody from McCain’s campaign staff, and it was indeed Steve something - I’m thinking Schultz? Schmidt? And also the woman on staff who backstabbed Sarah.......can’t think of her name right off but I’d know it if I heard it.
Yeah, I would prefer for pubs to not be so quick to believe this is all or only the work of a couple of McCain and/or Romney people.
If she won’t go against Crist she is NOT the woman I think her. If she will NOT go against Crist she is as phony as the rest. Right is right. Besides what did McCain do for her?
the Romney people, they were doing it before the election.
Already trying to.
This is the same type of legal harrassment that Duncan Hunter went through too.
Thanks for all tht you do.
Please ping me if you figure this out...
Well, first of all the topic is the FL primary ...people tend not to get involved in other states’ primaries, barring a special relationship.
Would Sarah Palin be the woman you think if she were disloyal and went against someone who worked with and for her in the presidential election and also worked with as a fellow Republican governor ?
She’d have to have a mighty valid reason to become involved in the FL primary and most especially to go against Crist. I.e., he’d have to come out for partial birth abortion or something 180 degrees from her.
I know in TX she supports Perry v. Kay Bailey Hutchinson, but there’s not the huge ideological divide as in FL ... and, again, Perry is/was a fellow governor.
Primaries should be off limits but Cornyn and others his ilk immediately endorsed Crist. Since then Senator Demint and Huck have endorsed Rubio. Heck, the state GOP chair (Crist’s buddy who appointed him) immediately endorsed Crist and backed off after counties starting protesting.
That is what ticks me off big time. The GOP doodoo heads picking our candidates, picking Crist instead of a conservative. Crist who sucked up to and appeared with Bambi about the stimulus.
That is why Rubio could really use someone’s support like Sarah.
Cornyn is the current chair of the Natl Republican Senatorial Committee. The chairmanship rotates among different Senators per election cycle, with the chair being one of the Senators NOT up for reelection.
The chair operates at the committee’s direction and based on their evaluation of the candidates electability to enhance the party’s standing in the body. As a committee, they have to think of gaining 11 seats and in each case will select the ‘most likely’ to prevail in the general election. It is far from philosophical.
Cornyn’s endorsement is really that of the committee. The committee is basically incumbents so who do you think they will support???? And not without good cause: reelection rates are astronomical v. a challenger. Electability has to do with name recognition and ability to raise the funds needed to win in November.
Some Republican exceptions to the conventional wisdom about electability are McConnell and Santorum.
Yes, I know. I also know I will vote for any dem before I vote for Crist.
It is over a year out, they DID NOT have to come out for Crist a year early, lots can and hopefully will happen.
Sarah owes nothing to Crissy and can certainly smell a rhino.
Might as well have one with the D after the name instead of an R who governs as one.
Do you get the outrage at the GOP at all?
I chose to back out of partisan political activities for the simple reason there really isn’t a party that represents my positions any more. Individual candidates that I like I will work for. Very simple formula.
BUT when push comes to shove, generally will vote for the one with the R .. especially for Congress. Majorities count.
The self-defeating conservative attitude in ‘06 and ‘08 of refusing to vote for a “RINO” beause s/he wasn’t 100% ideologically pure is exactly what got us Reid, Pelosi and Obama with committee chairs like Frank, Conyers, Dodd, etc., etc., etc.
Voting for a “RINO” in my state or district may be distasteful, but his/her being in Congress and helping to create a majority will put McConnell/Boehner at the helm, with chairs like Bachus, Lamar Smith, and Shelby.
To me it’s a no-brainer.
