While Christianity is oppressed across the Islamic world, mega-pastor Rick Warren will be spending this Four of July with his Islamist buddies. Buddies who have ties to Hamas. Also on the guest list is Brooklyn Imam Siraj Wahhaj who is no friend of America or non-Muslims.
In September 1991 Wahhaj stated the following:

Rick Warren is an idiot and his flock are sheep.
Well, just whoop-de-doo.
Well, a mega something.
There is a spiritual void that Islam can never fill.
We should not assume that muslims can not be won to Christ; the fact that they must threaten to murder anyone who converts to Christianity tells you all you need to know about Islam. They know that stacked up against Christianity, stacked up against Christ better said, they are a shadow.
Millions of muslims have come to the United States, and they are right here, right within easy reach. Don’t assume that they can’t be won when they more than anyone know the darkness that is Islam. They just need to see Christ modeled in front of them.
I don’t know if Warren knows what he is doing, I don’t know if he is the right one to do this work. But I do believe that they are ripe for the harvest. Not everyone, of course, but more than people might think. We just have to reach.
I see that. Rod Parsley fully understands what Islam is all about.
I am not assuming, I am going on facts. They are across the West trying to takeover. People have been trying to reach out to Muslims for centuries, it does not work. Warren is being irresponsible and only spreading false hope. Pastor Rod Parsley gets it. It will us or them.
ISLAM - Talk about a PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE!
Lol! I will give that to them. They never stop pushing.
He has a documented history. He is, at the minimum, a man-pleaser and a compromiser.
Being submissive to Islam beats being dead in Rick’s book
Wonder what Obaama told him?
Sadly 50%+ of “catholics” failed to remember that when they voted for the muslim. If the Pope had not formed a pact with the King of Poland - Europe would have been lost to incredibly intolerant Islam. The Polish Hussar cavalry turned the tide.
Now he's going to attempt to put a new face of friendliness towards Muslims from this guy who thinks he is all important and represents the whole of Christianity.
I initially was taken aback when he accepted to be part of the ceremony for Obama's inaugeration, but now I wonder which of the two has a bigger ego, and is more narcissistic?
Maybe they promised a bigger “fireworks” show.
Not wagering anything, I'm waiting to see what he will do.
Warren is just one man, and I don't know if he's the right guy for the job for all the reasons people have listed here. My point is different. I think there is an opportunity. Its not going to be easy for several reasons, but I think its a mistake to assume that they are all unreachable. This is just something I've been stewing on lately; we've assumed it can't be done, and indeed its not like evangelizing our heathen relatives, who aren't bad people if you can just get'em off the crack. Its a different level of difficulty for sure. But the fact that they are here, in the US, gives us an edge if we'll take it.
If we don't evangelize them, seriously, then the nightmare we're seeing in Europe is in our future. This is what the radicals want; and this is what will happen if we don't turn the table.
Whether they are trying or not, what we are seeing in Canada and Europe is our future if we sit flat-footed.
People have been trying to reach out to Muslims for centuries, it does not work.
Its a tough nut to crack, for sure. There is a cultural element that makes it tough, and in some cases almost a demonic element.
There is at once a spiritual darkness and a spiritual hunger. The hunger works for us; the darkness and the cultural elements work against us, its almost overwhelming.
One thing that occurred to me when I was working in Saudi Arabia. I noticed that there were executions for "blasphemy" almost every week in the kingdom. "Blasphemy" there is when you deny that Mohammed is the prophet. You can recant at any time up until the sword comes down. Who would not recant, if thats all you have to do to save your life? Thats when it dawned on me, there are people being converted to Christianity in a place where its almost impossible to evangelize. How, precisely? I don't know. People travel, satellite TV, the holy spirit, who knows.
And since then, I have heard exactly that, that people are being converted in the muslim world. But its hard, its almost miraculous when it happens because you can't evangelize, you can't declare yourself without laying your life on the line (your own relatives will murder you and if they don't, your neighbors will). And in fact it happens all the time; despite everything people convert (and are subsequently murdered).
But muslims here are an opportunity. They are here. We can argue that its a mistake to admit so many immigrants from the muslim world, and I will agree, it is. And if we don't do something we will be facing the disaster that the Europeans face now. But the Euros are helpless; they have lost their own faith, and have nothing to offer, nothing to convert their immigrants to. We are not helpless. If we don't evangelize the muslims, we will soon be in the same shape as the europeans. For many reasons we don't have the option of inaction. Don't assume it can't be done; I think we can and must.
I wish you luck, but I don’t hold out any hope that the Islamic world will change. If we do not end their immigration we will eventually lose, just as Europe is.
The point is that Warren has met with Muslims and Jews, previuosly, and has failed to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Apparently, Warren is more concerned about having Muslim and Jewsih help slaying the global giants than he is about idol worship, false teaching and a lost person's eternal destiny.
Good thing that you didn't wager that bet!
On Saturday night, Warren spoke to the Muslim convention and did not give the Gospel of Jesus Christ, BUT he did give the anti-Gospel.
Warren did just the opposite of what the Apostle Paul did in his missionary journeys....Warren minimized the doctrinal differences between Christianity and the Muslim faith, encouraging them to not compromise their convictions (which is just plain unbelievable!), thereby giving ceredence to Muslim false worship and weakening the position of the absolute truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and asked for everyone to find common ground to work together to the slay the global giants.
The ones who couldn't see this coming are the ones who haven't paid attention, and/or who are unable to be discerning on any level, from the beginning of Warren's public ministry.
This is what a Christian Post (http://www.christianpost.com/article/20090705/rick-warren-to-muslims-talk-is-cheap-let-s-work-together/page2.html)recent article recounted about Warren's latest Muslim visitation (he has visited and worked with them over several years...this ain't the first time):
But despite the praises, Warren maintained his religious differences with the Muslim crowd and encouraged audience members to also not compromise their conviction.
You know as an evangelical pastor, my deepest faith is in Jesus Christ, Warren stated. But you also need to know that I am committed not just to what I call the good news, but I am committed to the common good.
He called on the members of the two largest faith communities in the world to not only figure out how to live in peace and harmony with each other, but also to find a way to work together for the greater good without compromising each groups convictions.
In his speech, Warren suggested that Muslims and Christians work together to challenge the mischaracterizations and stereotypes in the media about each others faith; to restore civility in America by showing that people can disagree without being disagreeable; and to promote peace and freedom, particularly freedom of speech and religion, together.
Let me just say this to those of you who have been in America for many generations now, Warren said, noting that they were gathered on the Fourth of July, Americas Independence Day. Part of your responsibility is to help the newcomers learn what it means to be Americans.
America is a country not built on race, not built on a creed, but built on an idea liberty and justice for all and freedom for all, Warren said as he called for citizen education.
He also gave a practical example of how Muslims and Christians can work together by pointing to his PEACE plan, a massive effort to mobilize one billion Christians to combat the five biggest problems in the world spiritual emptiness, corrupt leadership, extreme poverty, pandemic diseases, and illiteracy and lack of education.
In a western province in Rwanda, the PEACE plan has been implemented where imams and pastors are invited to attend healthcare training sessions. Those religious leader in turn help mobilize their congregants to also receive healthcare training. By the end of this year, Warren said, a province where there was only one doctor for 750,000 people will have over 1,500 trained healthcare workers.
The acronym PEACE stands for promote reconciliation, equip servant leaders, assist the poor, care for the sick, and educate the next generation.
Warren acknowledged that it will not be easy to work together because of the criticism from conservatives from both religions, but he urged both groups to work together for the common good.
You know what I discovered is when you walk down the middle of the road you get hit coming and going, the evangelical pastor said. Actually, it is easier to be an extremist of any kind because then you only have one group of people mad at you. But if you actually try to build relationships, like invite an evangelical pastor to your gathering, youll get criticize for it, so will I. But that is not what matters, he said.
What has happened to this guy Rick Warren? Is he being blackmailed into this or something? His foray into islamic american politics is mind bending to say the least.
