These “inspections” could be life threatening for someone.

So I guess when a number of their ‘inspectors’ start disappearing, they will next arrive with armed escorts?

Somehow I don’t think this will get a whole lot of coverage on MSNBC, CNN, ABC...etc.

We tried to warn people. The federal government could never get this much power, they said. Even right thinking people I know said there would be nothing to fear after the ‘08 election. If they move to far to the left the Dems will just get thrown out, they said. We shall see.

I find it interesting that the is so similar to the plan enacted into law by the British Not-So-New Labour (Socialist) Party. Naturally it was a fiasco. I am not sure of the current status of the program, but you can be sure that the final objective is still there.
How come these two countries come up with the same plan at the same time? Socialist International Collusion perhaps?

I wonder what this will do to the already crippled housing market?
It just keeps getting deeper. We are up to our necks in feces and Obama and the Dems just keep pouring more on.

It will take a while to sink in and first it has to get out. With the MSM in the libs bed that will take a while. Hopefully it will; be well know by 2010, then a massive conservative swing, impeachment, and undo this garbage. These next 1 1/2 years need to be turned into the complete and utter destruction of the democrat party.

As bad as it was under King George III, it surely wasn’t *this* bad.

Sentiments aside....I’m going to have to force myself to stay below the surface on this one. Suffice it to say, what they’re proposing could be the final straw.

and so....what if your house fails the inspection...will you go to jail, suffer retraining camps, or be forced into the streets....mindless concept, the vast majority of homes meet the latest engineering standards...I doubt there is much to be improved on....

They’re not just talking about “the housing market” as in the market comprised of those wishing to buy or sell a home; they are talking about searching and ‘evaluating’ EVERY home in America - even those that aren’t part of the “housing market”. Basically it is an excuse to look for guns, money, illegal stuff, and to generally give themselves an excuse under the ‘environment umbrella’ to gain forceful control over you and me for the way we think, live, and keep our homes. I don’t know about you but this incites a rage in more than one of us, I expect.
