President Barack Hussein Obama held a "town hall" meeting at Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale, VA today (just off the Beltway) to drum up support for his socialized health-care program.
Along with attempting to scare Virginians and Americans into accepting more government control over our lives (as well as even higher deficits), the Obama camp is trying to tug at our hearts. That, being the most publicized moment of the town hall, as Obama hugged Debby Smith of Appalachia, VA, who is suffering from cancer and says she doesn't have health insurance.
If the moment seemed too perfect, that's because it was set up. Smith was invited by the White House to attend the event

Everything about the left is fake.
Hey- it’s the obama team, doing what it does best - campaign on hype and change.
They’ll pretend they care about little people, and we’ll pretend we believe them.
Everything about the left is fake.
:::::::::
Fake and DANGEROUS to America and its REAL citizens!
Everything our politicians do seems to be fake. They’re great at dog and pony shows.
What a phoney-baloney.
With 12 years to wait for age-related Social Security benefits, she relies on a hospital charity fund for twice-yearly cat scans; a pharmaceutical companys patient assistance program for help with her cancer drugs and her fiancé, who pays $515 a month for her remaining medication and regular doctor visits.
$$$$$
Bottom line:
SHE IS RECEIVING HEALTH CARE!!!!!! It is just not being paid by a traditional insurance company.
I rarely yell online but this needs to be shouted.
Also, why is her fiance not her husband? Probably for other economic reasons.
B.S! Are we to believe Barry gives a $hit about a stranger when he didn’t even see his own mother when she was terminally ill? That man has no compassion for anyone. He is a worthless POS.
Debby Smith spent four years serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and 25 years working as an accountant before she found out she had cancer and now she cant get health insurance. Odd what about her VA benefits?
I would have asked this woman why she is not dead. Clearly a lack of health insurance has not been lethal.
Imploding, Imploding, Imploding.
And I suggested it early on. A group of people trying to control everyone is only as good as the weakest emotionally unstable in the group. Once the group expands, the chances of having an emotional weakling in the group is mulitiplied exponentially.
Another way to define “emotional weakling” is “morally conflicted.” As long as the group has no one in it who has any morals, everything can be controlled. But once a person is added who has had some morals in the past . . . the group is slowly headed toward Implosion.
And the Republican’s MUST go on the offensive as the Democrat Control of Media is questioned by the Media itself.
If YOUR paper is questioning 0bama, write a letter to the editor about the topic. Short, sweet, to the point.
You need cancer medication? Sorry, you can't have that because it's too expensive. Here's a pain medication.
Need an operation? We'll put you on the list for sometime in 2011. Here's a pain pill you can take until then.
Need a pacemaker? Sorry, you're too old. Here's a pain pill you can take while you're waiting to die.
All this is fine with these people because they don't want to go to the trouble of having to make their own decisions. It's too much stress. It's too much worry. Barack wants them to feel powerless while they continue to give him more power over their lives.
The Dalibama resembles a traveling snake oil salesman.
I expect soon we will see a miraculous healing at one of his town halls.
Obama is “deeply concerned” I am sure he is trademarking that “Deeply concerned” thing
