So much for the so called green shots. Rumors of the economic recovery were greatly exaggerated. The month of June was another terrible month for jobs.

Employers cut 467,000 jobs in June, far more than expected, while the unemployment rate rose to 9.5 percent, the government said on Thursday in a report that showed a labor market continuing to struggle with a deep recession.

Whoever was expecting far less than the number put out today is not living in the real world.

How's that stimulus working out America?

Obama job loss program a stunning success. Our economy in the tank is his idea of immigration reform. In keeping with the rest of his brilliance. What else can he screw up? Stay tuned we got a ways to go!!!!

This article is biased against Obama who is a miracle worker.

It's obvious to anyone who has received a public school education in math that only losing 467,000 jobs is actually a gain in jobs because Obama has "created or saved" way more than that.

And it's obvious to anyone with a public school education in history that only having 9.5% unemployment, which is the highest since 1983, is actually a huge gain, because that's still better than unemployment rates from 1930, and 1983 - 1930 = 53.

So we're 53% better off under obama.

Glad I could clear that up.

What’s more sad than funny is, the kind of statements obama’s media makes are not very far logically from my load of nonsense.

This is the same math department that brought us the concept of “reducing” carbon emissions by emitting as much as you ever did, but paying someone else to claim that they won’t match your emissions level.

9.5% is the U3 unemployment number and NOT the number used in 1930 which is the U6. U3 does not include those who have dropped off the unemployment roles or those who are working survival jobs (including part time). The U6 number is near 18% right now

"Our economy in the tank is his idea of immigration reform."

Seems like immigration and healthcare "reform" are his "solutions" to our in-the-tank economy. Coming soon...a much bigger, deeper tank!

Yes, but if you had recently graduated from a public school your teachers would have made sure you understood that no matter what those so-called "facts" are, obama is still a miracle worker who has improved life on earth and elsewhere.
