..."Before election, Wal-Mart Bad. After election, Wal-Mart Good!!! President Barack Hugo Obama has gone from joining with democrat unions to bash Wal-mart for not hiring union workers to loving Wal-mart for supporting his idea to mandate health insurance coverage by large employers. Wal-Mart used to be the bad guy and Obamas campaign was critical of Hillary Clinton for her ties to the Wal-Mart Board. What he didnt tell you then is that he and his wife made a lot of money from the Treehouse Foods Co., which does big-time sales with Wal-Mart. In at least two years he and Michelle pocketed more than $100,000 in money made from Treehouse sales at Wal-Mart! He makes big money from this liberal hated evil corporation! Wal-Mart CEO Mike Duke announced 6/30/9 that his company supports the Obama health insurance mandate, part of Obamas socialist nationalization of healthcare..."

His whole election process was a plethora of lies. Fools bought it. Right out of “Rules for Radicals”.
O lied and the msm swore to those lies and the gullible sheep believed it all.
I still don’t get why Walmart is doing this. I would love to see numbers of how much they actually spend on health insurance, since I know from experience that much of the premium is passed on to the employees through payroll deductions. Wouldn’t the increased amount they will have to pay in taxes outweigh any benefit they would accrue? Is this more of a PR move? Or is it that they actually have true BHO believers high up in their ranks? In the long run, this will not increase their bottom line.
Well..., Wal-Mart and Obama were both “on track” for the same thing... so this is not surprising...
I mean, both are for China taking over America..., doncha know... LOL..
the walmart aisles are so closed in and they are so crowded with foul mouthed vulgar people, that I go to Target down the street and am quite happy.
Sam Walton embodied the spirit of the American entrepeneur. His legacy is embracing the demon of big-government takeover. I hear Sam rolling over in his grave.
Because health insurance for them, like any other company, is a major expense. Most companies would dump it in a heartbeat if they could.
Wouldnt the increased amount they will have to pay in taxes outweigh any benefit they would accrue? Any increase in taxes on Walmart will simply be passed to the consumers in the form of higher prices. However, because every retailer will also have to increase prices to pay the higher tax, Walmart does not lose any competitive advantage.
Bingo. We have a winner here. WalMart is being shaken down by the BO administration and Congress, knows it, and is forking over.
