I wish I could believe the arrogant one was talking about al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein. But I cannot shake the feeling he was slamming George Bush, instead of praising the president whose daring vision of a democracy in the heart of the muslim world brought this opportunity to Iraq

This buffoon in Washington surely will be remembered as a complicit in the total bastardizing of the American landscape financial and political (with the willing help of the rest of our ruling class) but to arbitrarily misquote "the Flying O"(like his own words aren't enough to show his socialist bent) does a disservice to accurate filing of posts on this site, and anyone can show your intent was to mislead.
It seems clear that the left sought to use Iraq's misery for partisan gain, and that they went out of their way to encourage resistance to America's mission of freedom. I am pretty certain you can pull quotes from the senate debates on withdrawal timetables, as well as from the actions of fellow travelers, like the NY Times, to support the original assertion that the Democrats and especially Obama were on the wrong side of history. IMHO
