today's daily poll: do you twitter? A Daily Poll.
Really wish more people would realize that online polls are used to measure interest in a topic; no one cares how the poll results turn out.
Also, the verb form of Twitter is tweet, as in to tweet. “I’m opening my Twitter application to tweet about landing tickets to the Super Bowl!”
I barely FReep....
Twitter?
Not enough time....
No, I’m straight.
not in public...I learned my lesson
I don’t but I heard Chrissy Matthews does every time he sees Obama.
Nope. I do have a twitter account. And people “follow” me. But I have no idea why they are following me or where I’m going. Don’t even know how to tweet.
only when i am being tickled.
Twittering now!
I did twitch sometimes until I stopped eating anything sweetened with Aspartame.
If someone follows me I stop short.
Leaves the cutest brown ring around their nose.
Ummmm, no.
Twitter is nothing more than an extension of the long time existing IRC rediscovered via cell-phone-internet. There is nothing technologically groundbreaking about Twitter other than its cultural 'hipness'
Otherwise, its use as a viable message system from the oppressed peoples of Iran is certainly impressive, and for that I will give Twitter a huge KUDO .. not for the system itself, but for how real people use it in dire circumstances in order to communicate their message to the world and circumvent government censorship
I'm so technologically challenged!
Absolutely.
Not only was “The Revolution Televised”...it was Tweeted.
I don’t. I had to look up its meaning this morning. I was somewhat apprehensive that I was the last person standing that didn’t know what this meant. I work some seriously long hours, and although I do complex work in the IT field, I didn’t know what this meant. (As noted, I work a lot). I wondered if there was something wrong with me, like the day I had to ask who Paris Hilton was.
The best way to communicate with your neighbor is face to face. Front porch led to back porch, which led to locked doors inside, which led eventually to Twitter.
I won’t embrace something just because I’m supposed to do so. Okay, my Luddite tendencies have been cleared...
what is twitter?
Does being called a twit count?
If I may, the Iran "Revolution" was NOT televised, nor was it covered in the MSM, nor was it addressed by our "esteemed" leaders (sarcasm there) ... NO, none of that ... the happenings in Iran are coming from the very people who are oppressed, via Twitter, the only thing they have left to get their message out to the world.
People are not stupid. Historically people know when they are being oppressed, and will take steps to get their message out. Twitter just happened to be the current venue for that message to get out to the world. In previous times it was Carrier Pigeons or Ham Radio or Pamphleteering or whatever ... the word of Freedom *will* get out no matter what
Cheers,
MM

WTF is with the ling winded crap that nobody reads?
