GOODBYE Michael Jackson, you good for nothing jerk.
There is little doubt that Michael Jackson was musically talented and gifted.
He will be remembered as a musical icon in much the same manner as the Beatles and Elvis.
Jackson’s problem seemed to stem out of his own identity.
As a beloved child performer, Michael Jackson wanted to remain a child forever basking in the great memories as that beloved child perfortmer. Michael Jackson therefore never wanted to grow up. And it is this idea that mainly accounted for his bizarre behavior IMHO. The many plastic surgeries I believe was to change his appearance in order to resemble his discoverer - Diana Ross. Subconsciously he may have even entertained the thought of even getting a sex change operation toward that goal. But this talented man child was also consumed by alcohol and drugs as befalls the case with many musical performers. It was that abuse coupled with his own strange psyche as he grew older that led to the slide of his music talent and the final desiccation of his physical body.
You are not a psychiatrist but play one on FR?
This is all about favorably redefining MJs image to KING of POP. His estate is apx $500,000,000.00 in debt. It makes good business sense to exploit his royalties.
Well, he made many people happy with his music, but his personal life was a shambles.
I’ve not known of many singers in popular music who didn’t have a lot to hide. Mr. Jackson had a whole attic full of dreadful stories and acts.
His apparent predilection for young boys was creepy, and his self-imposed facial mutilation was, well, troubling, at the very least.
Michael Jackson’s life was a mess.
Personally, I never cared for his music. I thought it was silly.
I made the mistake of having FNC on this morning. And just now, I heard someone on there (may have been Geraldo) blathering that everything MJ did, including grabbing his crotch, was pure genius. Lord, spare us...
I just try to call em as I see em.
I contend that Quincy Jones is the real genius and with out him producing his music MJ would ahve been forgotten years ago.
He was something like the central character in a Greek tragedy, wasn't he? Propelled to the heights by his talents and consumed by his own flaws. The conversion to Islam was as much a self rejection as were his surgeries and bleached skin.
I with you on this one and to add to that- he used and abused drugs and THAT finally did him in, no more or less than a junkie on the street
He's dead Jim. Don't keep bringing him back to life.
What the heck was Jermaine supposed to say?...’May CHRIST be with you?’ For God’s sake....the man is Muslim, not Christian and so why on earth would it be necessary for ANY newspaper to point that out?
What the heck was Jermaine supposed to say?...’May CHRIST be with you?’ For God’s sake....the man is Muslim, not Christian. For Jermaine, he said the right thing and so why on earth would it be necessary for ANY newspaper to point that out?
I don’t think that was the case. He did not have a good childhood due to a very abusive father.
His impulses and obsession with children and childish things indicate a longing to capture a childhood he never had.
I love Quincy Jones. In fact he is a kind of modern Henry Mancini who I also admire.
Speaking of “whitewash” the ONE thing that bothers me the most is the complete omission of the fact that this twice accused pedophile managed to buy three clearly caucasian children and parade them around as though he was their father.
There is a special place in hell for that woman that went to the sperm bank then sold him her offspring
My secretary had all the details of this BS this morning, and I knew nothing of it until 10am!! My response to her was, I think that the country going to hell in a handbasket is a tad more important to me right now!
Here's what I received from my note to them (see below)

Was it necessary to turn the entire Special Report over to endless loops of Michael Jackson????
Also, shut up Sheppard Smith. Please, the man has two shows of his own. If I wished to learn of his opinion of MJ, I'd turn him in.
There are certainly far more important "news" besides Mark Sanford, the death of Farrah Fawcett and now Michael Jackson!!!!
Knock acting like TMZ! You are supposed to be a NEWS network not "All Celebrities - all the time!"
IMHO MJ’s life on stage is as much a rebirth of a childhood Jackson never had as you say but it was also an escape from the abusive life he had as a child. On stage, the adoration of his fans was as much a sop to his ego as it was the love he never got from his family. Jackson’s life more than anything shows what a true loving father means to a child especially a young boy. So many single families now have no fathers and that is one of the big shames of our society. But if a father is to be an integral part of the family unit, then that father must conquer his own demons in order to be a loving and giving parent to one’s child.
