Sure, he lost it. But I have seen many people do this. There's no fool like an old fool. Plus I think it is harder for some people to stay faithful -- just the way they relate to relationships and the opposite sex. Plus famous people and rich people are temped a lot by people they encounter.

You couple predisposiion with weakness and opportunity and some people will cheat on their spouses. That's between him and his wife and family.

But abandoning his responsibilities, as he did, makes him unfit to serve as governonr in my view.

Exactly, Abandoning his duties so he could chase some foreign woman in south America is far worse than getting off with an American citizen intern in your own office. What if little miss Argentina was a spy looking to get into his pants and into his files. What if she could get him into a position of blackmail. It is almost tantamount to treason. Besides Republicans Conservatives are supposed to an example of how NOT to have compromising affairs and such. I think the voters of South Carolina should kick him out on his rear end.

I have no sympathy for his fake crying BS during his press conference.
