Obama has elevated Gitmo prisoners to 'celebrity' status. With high ranking members of his administration actually escorting the Former Prisoners to Bermuda, and of course the Obama idolizing press on hand to show the Arab world how we take care of our enemies.
And with them swimming around in the warm waters, it's only a matter of time, before they are interviewed, and made chic.
Photos published of them sashaying around town in new duds, smiling, eating ice cream at a local parlor, probably aren't doing a lot as far as instilling fear into our enemies.
I wonder if the number of enemy enlistments has risen lately, due to the perks the US is offering.
Oprah would be my guess as to who will be the first Obamanite to offer up large sums of money for a chance to interview them.
How about a book deal? Maybe something like 'GITMO-THE BUSH YEARS'?
I wonder who their agent is? Anyone have their Facebook or MySpace links?
How about Twitter? Somebody set up a twitter account for them.
Their families are now celebs as well.
Hell, I wonder if they can sing and dance? How about a song called 'I have a Dream'?
I can see it now, a show being produced called 'Gitmo has Talent'.
