I like BookTV, it often has excellent programming. But I was appalled when I turned it on over the weekend and saw Ayers. What a travesty.

I was flipping channels and saw Bill Ayers being interviewd on BookTV, paused for a few seconds and heard him ending a comment about the Vietnam War, deploring the fact that "3 million people were slaughtered". It immediately occurred to me that a few decades ago he and his bloodthirsty wife, Bernardine Dohrn, had advocated slaughtering as many as 25 million Americans in order to bring about their desired revolution. Did he mention that during his interview? I didn't think so...
