Perhaps, but even more specifically, I think they want to destroy the value of weapons in the minds of Americans, and particularly the value of guns in the minds of women. We certainly wouldn't want to ruin the stereotype of gun owners being ignorant hicks and violent right wing extremists in the minds of the self righteous left now would we?
