You have said a lot of the things I’ve been thinking (and saying, just in different words). What ARE we waiting for? Christmas?

I'll try to answer as honestly as possible with what I've learned as a student of conflict, and escalation of conflict.

Right now, there are still too many people who don't realize that the nation is DONE. It's FINISHED. They still think they're going to escape with something. They think they'll be able to save something of the life they know now.

When the situation digresses appropriately and more people realize that there's truly nothing left to lose, and possibly something to gain even, THEN we'll see effective organization and action.

But at this point, I don't think we're going to see anything worth noting...aside from the one offs who go down swinging and are promptly declared as being domestic terrorists, or just plain crazy. Anybody who tries anything that could be "effective" at this point will simply die for nothing. The ratios of force are simply too far against them right now.

Keep your eye on it though, because I do believe that at some point along this curve we're digressing into, too many people will realize that there's simply nothing left to lose. Then we'll have "change".

The truth is that a lot of people are going to have to be driven to their knees (a position from which many will not return) before the impetus to action takes hold. For many, it will be TOO DAMNED LATE! Funny thing about Americans, though. Most of the time we won't fight until we're backed into a corner. After that, look out: hell's coming, and we're coming with it.
