You’re not going to talk or vote your way out of the tyranny that’s coming.

If you are right then should the disabled, who cannot take up rifle and fight, simply quit in despair?

As for me I am far more fitted to the war of ideas. We have a place in this fight, too. It is not pre-ordained that we cannot win a war without a shot fired, such as Reagan did against Communism.

I fully support *preparing* for war. If it comes I'll do what little I can to fight it. In the meantime I'll fight the battle with verbal broadsides instead of bullets. And I will not despair (much).

Don’t despair. This is a war that will be fought in many venues and on many fronts. The battle lines will be drawn through living rooms and workplaces.

Let’s not forget that this country was founded upon the idea of individual liberty and personal responsibility - and we lost this country to ideas that appeal to the worst in human nature.

So, yes - ideas matter.

If we are going to emerge from the coming war with a free American Republic (for we surely do not have one now), the ideal of liberty and its underlying philosophy will have to be reconstructed in every home and in every classroom.

The Way of the Warrior is something that operates on many different levels. You’re a warrior every time you stand up for what’s right. Everyone has a part to play.

Remember also that the opening day of the first American revolution was fought in part by many Dangerous Old Men.
