David Letterman continued his diatribe against the Palin family on last night's edition of the "Late Show." "The hardest part of her visit [to New York] was keeping Eliot Spitzer away from her daughter," Letterman said. Palin's daughter, Willow, is 14-years-old.

That said, I detest Letterman.
Was he suggesting that Spitzer is a perv, or that the Palin kid is a prostitute? I tend to think it was the former. Maybe I’m giving Letterman too much credit.
I think that the cluster of attacks on Governor Palin and her family over the last ten days are backfiring spectacularly. Even leftist nutroots are calling Lettermann out on his deranged comments. Geoffrey Dunn’s (Huff Post) charge of “plagairism” subsequently reduced to “lifting’ has destroyed whatever credibility that Dunn has ever had, together with the media that took it up (especially AP). The fact of a video showing her giving Newt recognition twice by name and a number of times by use of the pronoun ‘he’ was their undoing. The Huffers are getting desperate. Balz at the WaPo has has to correct his misquotation of Palin. Again there was a video to prove just how sloppy he was. As for Kathleen Parker . . . enough said. Epic fail.

I think Slim Dog Letterman needs to spend some “quality time” with Tod Palin up in Alaska. I am sure Mr. Palin would extend him a up close and personal visit.
