Because they know what we already know, that she can beat Obama. Obama is as close to a Jimmy Carter clone as anyone has ever seen..Sarah is as close to Ronald Reagan as far as her beliefs and how she is treated by Dems and those in her own party. I think they have done research that shows that she can beat Obama, that is it..FEAR..fear that their time is running out. If she were irrelevant, or were going nowhere, why bother dissing her..why not just leave her alone
Letterman’s wife is not a glamour girl but she’s hardly a pig and if she were I wouldn’t make fun of her.

Mr. Letterman’s hate speech against the Palin family is totally unacceptable. You may think this will increase his ratings against Conan but believe me, this is NOT the way to do it.
I expect CBS to fire Mr. Letterman for his reapeated filthy hate speech against this family.
This household will not watch CBS or buy anything from the companies who advertise on CBS until he is fired.

I know nothing of Ms. Letterman (she may be a lovely person), but Dave is a low life scum (IMHO) for slamming on an innocent 14 year old girl as he has.
I submitted my comments to CBS. All of us here need to do so.
If A-Rod is smart he won't comment at all. Too many gremlins in his own closet and he better just focus on hitting the tar out of the baseball instead.

So I gave them some ideas worthy of a joke or two regarding uhbama's reign so far.
I mentioned the teleprompter episodes, the fact that he NEEDS and USES a teleprompter AT A PRESS CONFERANCE for heaven's sake (I suggested they picture the man in the back room typing the answers into the teleprompter-sort of like an Oz episode-lol!
I reminded them of uhbama's date to NY-and the fact that he paid for the restaurant and show but WE provided the over 25,000 dollars in gas, protection, pilot fees, transportation etc...some estimates as high as 43,000 dollars that we choked up for their escapade...while most of America is suffering or touched in some way by job losses and high gas prices and have experienced serious hits in their mutual funds, IRA's or Roths, etc.
I also mentioned his horrific use of the grunt...UH...as in "Well we uh......uh......uh......uh plan to deliver uh......uh...." Etc. It is FAR more disturbing than mispronouncing a word or two. It's called stalling in order to get a decent and believeable thought into your head. Uhbama does it consistently.
THERE IS PLENTY to JOKE about over this blue lipped 'special' self described 'gifted' big eared narcissist.
Now we can add that letterman has to pick on people's chldren because his staff just can not find any jokes about uhbama and his angry wife.

lettermans recent Top 10 about Gov. Sarah Palins recent visit to New York, as well as his comments about her during the show, were in very bad taste, extremely sexist, very insulting, and not in the least bit funny.
To joke about the rape of a 14 year old girl? Thats comedy???
Commentators, radio host, and so-called comedians have been driven off the air because of comments such as his. I will never watch this show again, and will make sure my family do the same. We have been to the studio several times and have enjoyed being in the audience, but that was many years ago, back when letterman was funny, but I date myself with that comment, it was SO many years ago.
