Terry calls Tiller's murder a 'teaching moment'
Randal Terry released a statement this afternoon stating that:
“Within moments of Dr. George Tiller's killing, his Web site was taken down. This Web site included gruesome details of what he offered his "clients," including baptisms for the dead baby, photographs of the dead child, an offer of an urn with the dead child's ashes, and more.”
He says “…the Web site has been recovered in its entirety, as it was posted in January of 2008.”
The link provided by Terry, www.overturnroe.com features a lengthy diatribe against Tiller and pictures purported to be of a smiling mother with her “killed” baby taken at Tiller’s facility.
Terry lists an “Emergency Pro-Life Leadership Training” June 12-14 at the Doubletree Hotel in Crystal City just outside Washington, D.C. The conference will feature Terry, Alan Keyes and others.
Terry’s statement on the site concludes with a pledge to use Tiller’s death as a “teaching moment”. He does not announce plans for any more similar “lessons” for other health care providers.
“Our mission is to end the legalized killing of the unborn from conception until natural birth. In this epic struggle – this “war” between the “culture of death” and the “culture of life” – there are going to be unforeseen crises and difficulties. Dr. Tiller’s death is one such unforeseen moment.
However, we must not allow the forces of death to use this moment to glorify their heinous acts. Rather, we must use Dr. Tiller’s death as a “teaching moment” to pull the veil away from the insidious murder that is happening every day, every hour, in abortion mills like Tiller’s across the country.
Wherever Mr. Tiller’s soul is right now – I know he agrees.
Be strong, be brave, and be unflinching in the coming days. We must defend the babies in the face of the death of their killer.”
A link is provided that leads to a Women’s Health Care Services P.A. site that includes the following statement from Dr. Tiller:
Women and Families are intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, and ethically competent to struggle with complex health issues -- including abortion -- and come to decisions that are appropriate for themselves.

"Within moments"? How much time are we talking here? Who had the presence of mind to do this so quickly?
I find that extremely odd.

I can only guess he really was mentally unbalanced.
Only a very warped, evil individual could conceive of these rituals, and have a mother participate in them.

Those gruesome pictures make me feel its a good thing Tiller is dead. Feel free to look at “Tiller the killer’s” work before you attack me for saying that.
George Tiller was a ghoul. He rejoiced in death. He was far worse than Kevorkian. At least Kvorkian’s clients had lived a long fruitful life.

This man was no martyr, he was a monster. He traded in death, and frankly died a far less violent death than those he killed.
I don’t remotely condone his killers actions, but please don’t try to tell me this man was anything but a monster. He traded in the death of the innocent.

How is this differnet from what the Nazi’s did? One could, could make the obscene arguement that the Nazi’s were performing research.
What do you call this but murder? To me, the parents are worse than the abortionist. The abortionist might be the gun, but the parents pulled the trigger.
