As everyone knows, over the weekend controversial abortion doctor, George Tiller, was murdered at his church. No matter what side of the debate you are on, this is a despicable, cowardly and tragic event. Everyone should pray for Tiller and his family. In fact, most on both sides are doing exactly that. The apparent gun man appears to be an individual was some serious mental issues and we will soon know more about their motivations.

BO will get no defense from me. He stands in the middle of the road, so he deserves to be run over by both sides.

"All of this is meant to do one thing. It is meant to intimidate anyone else that seeks to criticize or be held responsible for demonization that leads to the target's life being threatened. Ultimately, these folks have used a tragedy not only to score cheap political points but as an opportunity to silence voices with which they disagree."
Volpe has correctly accessed the situation. Dead on point. (no pun intended)

It will be interesting to see how B.O. responds to this. The first thing I said to my wife when I heard about the murder was, “O’Reilly is going to get skewered now!”
B.O.’s schtick as the “reasonable man in the middle” isn’t going to save him from the leftist loons.
To: lormand
This is one time that I agree with the left. BOR deserves to get run over from both sides at the same time.

No one but the killer is responsible, but I do have to admit it will be fun to watch Mr. “FreeRepublic is a hate site” tap dance now that a guy he callls Tiller the Killer has been shot dead.

I will hold the coats, of both sides!
But I also do not feel any loyalty to BO

I don’t think that he will tap dance around anything. He meant what he said and he isn’t responsible for the actions of a deranged individual. That’s what he will say, I bet, and he would be right.

Well, actually, Tiller belonged in prison.
If he had gone to Prison, he would probably still be alive today.
Yes the shooter carries most of the blame, but a society that allows monsters like Tiller to prosper must take a look at itself, as well.

He’s been chosen to be this week’s DNC/MSM diversion? These weekly, coordinated diversion attacks are getting a little old.In any event, I’m sure he’ll love the extra attention for a week.
To: Mr. Silverback
We all need to get further then BO’s comment about FR. We must be bigger than that. When you are bigger you can let a little false criticism slide off you like water off from a duck;s back. The bigger issue is that BO spoke out courageously against an extremely evil man knowing that it may cause him trouble. He did not remain on the fence when it came to Tiller the baby killer. In today's world that took courage. For that he should be commended and we do not need to feed him to the leftist lions.
Conservatives need to learn to build bridges with others who are not exactly what we think they should be but who are more on our side than the other side. When we constantly shoot our own in the name of being purist we only do ourselves harm. BO deserves to be backed up by us concerning this issue because he was brave and right concerning it.
