Today's New York Times features a story about 31 year old Brian Deese. It's called "The 31 Year Old In Charge of Dismantling GM". Deese is not an employee of General Motors. In fact, less than a year ago, he was still in law school at Yale. Now, he's the point man on the bankruptcy of General Motors.

How did this happen? Deese, with no experience in the auto industry, became one of the first people chosen to head the President's auto task force.

This reminds me of McNamara’s “whiz kids” running the Vietnam war. We all know how that turned out.

His auto experience is cited as having slept in his car, in a GM plant parking lot, on his drive to Washington.

“Yet, rather than pointing out the dangerous road we have found ourselves on, the media is writing puff pieces about the career opportunities this has created for young bureaucrats.”

Young Bureaucrats...the Government trenches are full of them, and they are and have been for years fully Leftist in persuasion.

Much of the confusion emanating from D.C., the questionable antics we see that either go unanswered if asked about, or any vague response is due IMO to the fact that the source of confusion is by those without authority to produce the actions that cause the eyebrow to raise.

The Leftists have to cover their butts, and in so doing must prevent the knowledge of their entrenchment within the vastness of the Federal bureaucracies from being exposed.

Hoo-boy.

About Mr. Deese: From wICKipedia:

Before joining the transition team, he was deputy economic policy director for the 2008 Barack Obama presidential campaign and, before that, for Gene Sperling in the 2008 Clinton campaign. He graduated from Middlebury College in 2000 with a degree in Political Science and is now on leave from Yale Law School. Previously, he was a senior policy analyst for economic policy at the Center for American Progress. Brian also worked as a research assistant at the Center for Global Development, hired by founder Nancy Birdsall.

About the Center for Global Development...

CGD's stated mission is "to reduce global poverty and inequality by encouraging policy change in the U.S. and other rich countries through rigorous research and active engagement with the policy community. (One of it's main initiatives is CONFRONTING CLIMATE CHANGE..)

And we all know that hotbed of liberal lunacy The Center for American Progress...

The Center for American Progress is a liberal political policy research and advocacy organization. Its website describes it as "... a nonpartisan research and educational institute dedicated to promoting a strong, just and free America that ensures opportunity for all." Its President and Chief Executive Officer is former lobbyist John Podesta.

Crazy.

McNamara’s “whiz kids” running the Vietnam war. We all know how that turned out.

All you need to know about disgusting turds of his ilk is that he actually told front line troops they were using to many bullets.

He’s more qualified to run GM than Obama is to be President.
