However O'Reilly has not grown. He sometimes makes moronic comments on the issues. For instance I have heard him more than once wrap-up a discussion on anthropogenic global warming (a topic on which he straddles the fence) with a statement along the lines that he is for clean air and clean water. "Nothing wrong with that," he opines. And this was before the enviro-nuts at the EPA started with their "CO2 as pollutant" propaganda.
Last night's show was no exception to his constant excuses and covering up for Obama. He actually stated that Obama had nothing to do with Eric Holder's dropping the charges against the Black Panthers in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary including a video.
I think even the most dense observer knows that Holder wouldn't blow his nose before getting approval from his boss on this powder keg of a racial issue.
The night before, the Bloviator actually stated he "didn't think that Obama was a far-left guy".
Your post was spot on, Steel. Mr. Bill usually sits ON the fence, but also jumps to either side when he thinks he's reading his audience and what position he will take to maintain his ratings. He has no roots in a consistant ideology.
Glenn Beck doesn't need O'Reilly or anyone now he's established. I hate when he's on the Factor and plays the buffoon inferior Lou Costello to BOR's arrogantly superior Bud Abbott.
