You won’t HAVE freedom if WE (meaning you, me, all of us) lose.
It starts with one person having the attitude - “You F*ck with ONE of us, you F*ck with ALL of us”. Then it spreads. It already has.
Certainly in some instances you are correct - there ARE those who will buckle under. There have always been those who will.
But it’s an individual decision, brother. You can’t speak for everyone; you can only speak for yourself and folks that you know personally. For the record, even though I dont know you, I don’t think you’d buckle or walk away. You have the “Hey F*ck You!” attitude that has marked Americans since the beginning of our existence as a people. It’s a good attitude. It’s the attitude that many, many of us out here STILL have (the proof of that is in the responses coming back your way). It has NOT been bred nor brainwashed out of us.
Sure, there’s tough talk and bravado; there is in every war.
But then there’s the Quiet Professionals as well. And that’s what keeps the other side pissing in their panties and having nightmares every single night - it’s EXACTLY the reason why they haven’t done anything yet other than make easily-targeted examples that only served to terrify people who be terrified anyway by anything. What it HAS done is infuriate those who its dangerous to infuriate, and fill them with “a terrible resolve” to quote a certain Japanese admiral.
There are those who believe in meeting them at the door in warm, friendly, “Meet and Greet” fashion. Instant trip to oblivion? You betcha. But once again, it’s “Hey! F*ck YOU!” to the nth degree, if you think about it.
And there are those who believe in waiting until the first or second wave has passed, giving up their old “surrender guns” with a nod and a grin like good little law-abiding citizens, and then going out and digging up the REAL tools for some payback.
Either way, it is undeniable that there is a large percent of folks who will NOT buckle under.
And either way it is undeniable that people will die - on both sides.
At the end of the day, NO ONE here gets out alive; we’re on this rock for a specific number of hours, and we expire - period. Its what you live and die FOR that matters, ultimately.
Me? I want my progeny to grow up in the same country that I grew up in, as much as possible, with the same chances of success or failure that I was faced with, based on my own merits, my own initiative, my own powers to influence my destiny and either succeed magnificently, or fall flat on my face with no interference.
So that when I do finally lock-down and tag-out, I can go and face God and the millions of American souls that fought and died to GIVE THAT SAME CHANCE TO ME and say “I did my duty”.
I’d say that’s worth dying for, if it comes to it.
It serves no purpose out here to do the he-said-you-said-so-there boogiewoogie with folks who are basically on the same side - that’s why we have no political party right now.
At the end of the day, the other side hates ALL of us equally.

My wife would tell you that this is my favorite response to the assorted a-holes and betas one is apt to stumble upon in day-to-day life.
I’m a scrapper, always have been.
Tens of millions of babies die every year. Effectively murdered by the US government.
And Americans do nothing.
A blatant anti-American, anti-white, hard-left candidate runs for office.
And Americans vote him into office with the help of approximately 20% of “conservatives/republicans” because he is “cool” and black.
Same man fires a CEO, nationalizes banks, targets individual PRIVATE citizens for intimidation...
And Americans do nothing.
Same man shackles with debt/high taxes/lower standard of living the current collection of half-dead Americans, and their offspring for at least 2 or 3 generations, with the largest gov’t spending bill in human history.
Americans!? (sound of crickets and the sound of a “Tea Party” way off in the background)
Same man gives a group called ACORN millions of YOUR tax dollars. Conservatives/Republicans values are diametrically opposed to ACORN yet they are forced to fund their activism/lobbying/agenda.
Americans do nothing.
ACORN ends up with a part to play in the Census, affecting huge amounts of tax dollars, political power/positioning and support of the governments racist policies against whites.
Americans do nothing.
The private sector is assaulted daily. Hundreds of thousands of jobs are lost every month—WHILE GOVERNMENT GROWS—WHILE CIVIL SERVANTS HOLD PROTESTS TO PROTECT THEIR CUSHY JOBS AND CUSHY BENEFITS—benefits that the tax-burdened private sector couldn’t possibly afford.
Americans do nothing.
Government publishes a document referring to conservatives/soldiers/right wing as “potential terror threats”.
Americans do nothing.
and on, and on, and on...
Now, all of you calling me a coward, a traitor—telling me to go back to DU, etc., would have me believe that Americans are going to FIGHT BACK????????????

If I’ve made a few of you angry, fine. I think there are too many FReepers who aren’t enraged and ready to do battle. We are in a fight for our lives and few seem to get it.
They walk out of their front doors and looks around and, “Gee, everything looks like it did before. Everything is just fine—it’s just another election cycle. Pesky liberals.”
NO! It’s not fine. The left is setting us up for a fall.

Why else would they behave the way they do? Because they patriots? Because they want Americans to prosper? Because they are capitalists?

You tough guys aren’t doing a damn thing by touting what you will do “if they try to take you guns”. How about some non-violent action NOW? Millions have guns, sure. But they would be far more frightened of you if you could muster some real activism and real resistance.
