America’s 1st Freedom June 2009 Magazine has called the Democrats onto the carpet.
And it isn’t pretty.
Marshall Lewin in an article titled:”Showing their True Colors”, lays it all on the line. In his article he describes a ruthless calculation, Democrat leaders in the White House and in Congress are waiting for people to die. That’s right. They are waiting until there is some national level tragedy, the loss of life involving firearms, to introduce and then pass legislation banning guns.

Don’t fret, though, there are many here on FR that have trouble with reading comprehension—you’re certainly not alone.
They don’t/can’t read it but they have STRONG opinions about that which they don’t fully grasp. Now, I’m guilty of mis-reading something on occasion, like any human. The difference is that I don’t start name calling like the arrogant ignorant are apt to do.

I don’t doubt you. Our sheriff would likely do the same. However, hundreds vs an armored Co. or Bn. or Bde. ? If the county you live in has the will, then ultimately it will follow that you will face a Bn. or Bde. maybe with the support of a county next to you, but its likely most will fold to the will of the Feds.
I’m with you on fighting, but it won’t be won standing toe to toe with the bastards, it will take a decade of insurgency, IF we survive that long.

That's what I've been saying since this began. Who actually thinks there will be a "fair" electon in 2010? It seems many of us are asleep and have not read their history about communists and how it works. Nothing has been hidden from us at all, in plain view, I am amazed at the willful blindness.

I've been thinking the very same thing. What leaves me puzzled is immigration reform. They need it to turn the U.S. into a one party system. What are they waiting for? Or, do they think they can fix the election with Acorn's help?

And it’s in poor taste ESPECIALLY today when someone did in the baby-killer. The anti-life crowd is going to jump all over stuff like this now. You should know better. It matters not HOW passionate you are about being pro-life, it’s not appropriate on this thread or today, of all days. And I say that as one who is as passionate about life as anyone. You do not hand your enemies a hammer with which to hit you over the head.
Me too. That was not my over all point. I was attempting to speak to how big this land is, and to how hardy her people are.
To take her by force is nigh on impossible, IMHO. And to imagine her people, at least those in the rural areas would simply roll over without a fight is beyond the pale.

The human heart can generate much evil and there are plenty of examples in history of barbaric treatments of whole populaces who might be opposed to a tyrant. The only way such populaces get any freedom is to bare teeth for teeth! It can be easy to extrapolate future events from past behaviours of communist regimes and other historic tyrannies!
The World itself fears that with American sophistication in land, air and space that the U.S. shall become a kind of Uber Roman empire. I still remember Biden’s debate speach where he spoke of the use of American troops sent all over the world to quell many of the Somali types of ethnic cleansing, of course in conjunction with some type of UN aegis!

Exactly - misplaced hysteria. This whole “FMCDH” thing is a self-serving willfull paranoia. “Paranoia: the belief that someone cares.” Ditto the “they’ll shut down the grid & smoke you out” type scenarios are equally hysteria. They don’t actually care about you that much to bother with that method. They’ve learned; they know they’re hugely outnumbered; they won’t try any head-on tactics.
What they’ll do is stifle sales. There are, really, very few such manufacturers in this country. Barrels, primers, and shells are the bottleneck - make it hard, very hard, very expensive (but still legal!) to get them, and the market supply will evaporate over time. HR45 is their next key move: license the heck out of everything, making most (who don’t care THAT much) eventually give up out of mere annoyance, and make the rest (”FMCDH”) into criminals who can be eradicated one-by-one over time.
Remember the whole AWB fiasco? Yeah, it evaporated after 10 years. There was a lesson in there: nearly everyone complied. There was a lot of sound and fury, which signified nothing.
They’re not stupid. They know the score. They know the game. And they know they’ll lose head-on. They know YOUR weak points. They won’t do anything sudden, they’ll just raise the temperature until you cook.
