Now we will get to see how voters like having their kids home early from school, paying for their own medicine, dodging the thousands of criminals given early paroles, and making citizen arrests, the Speaker continued."Politicians ALWAYS list the schools first. And if the politicians would do their jobs and enforce the law, the illegal criminals wouldn't be coming into california.

Speaker Karen Bass (D-Los Angeles) called voters rejection of the measures a tragic error. Its a demonstration of lack of trust in those of us charged with governing this state,
No s*** Sherlock. Get the message, Karen.
Good Lord, seriously . .where do they find these people?

That Bass sounds like a threat.
When an employee threatens an employer (taxpayer) what should law enforcement do.
Taxpayers get few services - it is distribution of wealth so we won't miss much since we are not given anything.

Lol. How predictable. It's always the fire dept, police, schools, city water supply etc.. to face cuts first.

threaten the public with all that, huh?
How about threatening to cut legislators pay...
Imagine the tragedy of hundreds of lawmakers with a 25% pay cut...
oh, the horror...

It’s time to liquidate the State of California and start from scratch with a 0% tax rate and no public services. That’s the only way to smoke out of all of the government pensioners and other worthless freeloaders dragging the state down.

The best satire is that which is so close to expectations that it has to be identified as satire lest people break out the torches and pitchforks.
Good stuff!

Schwarzenegger emphasized that the cuts must occur in highly visible and essential services in order to let people know the consequences of their votes. It would do us no good to make cuts in the parts of government that people dont understand. If we fire planners, consultants, regulators, tax auditors and such, the average citizen wouldnt feel a thing and those who do probably would feel relieved. That sends the wrong message. The Girly-man speaks the Democrat Party talking points. What a fool he is.

Its a demonstration of lack of trust in those of us charged with governing this state,Incredibly, someone got it right.
This is the first time I've had any respect of Kalifornians...if they can continue to reject their government then I may restore their C instead of the K.

Dang, didn’t see satire!
Nowadays the satire is too close to the truth to be humor.

Its a demonstration of lack of trust in those of us charged with governing this state, Bass said. Well, she's right there. And Ms. Bass, why do you think that is? Apparently someone, ahem, isn't doing their job very well or acting very responsibly.
