The problem is how Muslims constantly use our freedoms against us. They should not be catered to in anyway.
There is a difference in being treated the same as every other religious faith and requesting “special privileges” that infringe on others rights. I may not agree with a 300-foot exemption, but it is very common in my part of the country.
However, examples of privileges that are out of bounds are requests for calls to prayer five times daily from a neighborhood mosque loudspeaker, refusal to carry dogs or persons with alcohol in a public cab, demands for special feet washing facilities in public restrooms at a cost to the taxpayer, etc. Those are requests that are clearly out of line.
