Turns out the stunt wasn’t so funny. Witnesses said Muller thrashed on the table, and even instantly threw the toy cow he was holding as his emergency tool to signify when he wanted the experiment to stop. He only lasted 6 or 7 seconds.

Did Mancow walk away from the experience with a permanant limp or unable to raise his hands over his head?
Were his teeth shattered or was there a hole drilled in his knee?
This is a SCARY experience but it does no permanant harm. It is supposed to be VERY uncomfortable and scare the shit out of you.

Thanks, its important for us to remember that what happened to John McCain III IS TORTURE. And those who suffered at Bataan and in philipine POW camps, and what happened to captured soldiers in Iraq that where found mutilated.

AND...it’s EQUALLY if not MORE important for John McCain to remember what is torture and what isn’t. He’s in a prominent position and needs to remember his own words have consequences. Yes, it trigger the body’s natural instinct to flee from drowning. No doubt very uncomfortable.
The US military has waterboarded probably hundreds or thousands of our own troops as training.
But CIA professionals waterboarded IN TOTAL only 3 enemy combatants/criminals who admitted they were withholding details of mass murder plots. Which Barry’s legion refuse to reveal to the American public. Even Leaky Leahy is plugged.
More terror “suspects” in Somali lifeboats have died under nobama’s reign, than during post-911 waterboarding!
There’s a movie out now on DVD called “Taken.” It was released just prior to Spring Break.

Have we as a nation lost all reality here? Whether you waterboard or keep a person up all night under a hot light to get them to talk, this is nothing compared to real torture.
Getting someone to scream “Uncle” in 7 seconds tells me that it’s a pretty effective technique.
I’m tired of this stupid debate on what is “perceived” torture. Ya know for some jail is torture, and for those who can’t swim a simple pool of water would be torture. For most of these terrorists a bath, or any contact with water is probably considered torture.
It makes more sense to me that justice is served, and that justice is equal to whatever the other side chooses it to be by their actions. ie if sawing a head off is their version of justice - so be it. Next time we catch one of your guys we’ll send him back in two bags.

If they really - really wanted to torture Mancow, they should have placed ladies panties on his head and force him to eat lemon chicken. If someone is drowning in debt to pay their taxes - are they being tortured?
We now know 3 terrorists were waterboarded. How many of our troops are waterboarded to train them how to handle it. My guess is the number is in the 100’s. Why hasn’t someone come up with something like “... we have waterboarded 225 of our own people (for training purposes) and only 3 terrorists (for the security of the USA). ? We know guys like Ollie North have been through it ... how many others?

I will allow anyone on the Left to water-board me so long as they give me the ability to save the life of the unborn child they plan to abort.
I even accept that Mancow sez its scary as hell. But I am intelligent enough to know in advance - that at the days end I am completely whole and unharmed AND I will save another life.
So who are the real disciples of lasting pain-induced death creating disciples of terror?

Lets pretend for a second waterboarding is torture, though certainly a mild form at best.
The left uses situational ethics to indoctrinate our children all the time, yet isn't this EXACTLY the same thing, a situational ethic question? So I could conclude that situational ethics is a liberal "core value" only in theory, not in practicality
I always wonder if Obama was taken hostage by the enemies of this country, would the situational ethics change for the left and allow waterboarding, since their messiah life is at risk.
My guess would be when practicality hits them square in the face, they will be talking a different tune
