You mean the anti-American Ron Paul who actively supported the 9/11 truthers? Yep can’t stand him!

You posted a new thread just to link to comments in another thread?
I’m also puzzled by the way the title seems to imply that our disagreement with Ron Paul is based merely on means and not ends.
To: Drango
And here it comes. Conservatives attacking a conservative. This is the problem with Free Republic. And the problem with the GOP in general.
Good luck.

Why so anti-Ron Paul? Not exactly “anti-Ron Paul”, just think he’s way wrong on the WOT. I do believe in the Bush doctrine of pre-emptive strike against terrorists. I believe Mr. Paul is an isolationist. I would prefer to be totally libertarian, but it just doesn’t seem practical today.

Yup. Typical FReeper. Attack the poster and not the post. You people are ridiculous.
I tried to do my part. But your self-righteous fraternity could not stomack a “newbie”.
You are the problem. You are all so blind to realize that your short sightedness is the very reason Barack Obama was elected.
Go ahead; get Alinsky on me as I’m sure you will.
You make me sad.

SO I guess the logic here is that since Ron Paul garnered even less success running for president than McCain, we should go with Paul. And since the Republicans are in the minority, we should now turn to someone who hasn't been able to get any political momentum going in Congress as our leader.
Read the above carefully. Now read this:
You are a Ron Paul follower because you don't know any better.
To: DrGop0821
Been here since Febuary have ya.? and you’ve already figured out the “Problem with both the GOP, AND Free Republic. Good Luck to you too Sport.

R - U - N Paul is not a Conservative. He's a Libertarian. I'm not supporting a nut job who thinks the same way that Pelosi does on the WOT and who believes the answer to dealing with people using abusing drugs is to make them more accessible. Character counts - but being a caricature is not a positive.
