On April 29, 2009, I released Part I of this column, which resulted in a firestorm of interest in the story behind current Census Bureau efforts to capture and record the GPS coordinates of every private residence in the United States. World Net Daily is leading with that story today… Census GPS-tagging your home’s front door.

The story blasted around the Internet within hours of its release, drawing millions of readers and thousands of comments from both Obama and ACORN supporters, and Americans already fearful of a corrupt and possibly unconstitutional government, clearly running wild with unbridled power. By 24 hours later, even the Census Bureau in DC was reading the column.

It turns out that Obama, ACORN and the US Census Bureau are not the only folks interested in the GPS coordinates for every home in the USA.

In a United Nations Report dated September 2004 titled, Integration of GPS, Digital Imagery and GIS with Census Mapping, the United Nations Statistics Division announced –

The US government already knows the physical location of most addresses in the country. GPS can easily be jammed as well. I’m somewhat skeptical of this plan.

Not that I'm aware... It looks like FR moderator (Paige) is out for personal vengeance again today. One of the biggest NEWS storied in the nation, from one of the best conservative news sites on the entire web, and Paige moves it to "Bloggers and Personal" where the story will die on FR instantly, even though Part I of the story had over 15,000 reads and 500 comments on FR. Why? Because she has a hard-on for me personally. Eternal Vigilance posted Part I of this story and it became one of the biggest stories on FR and across the nation... I post Part II and Paige dumps it to Bloggers and Personal to kill the story. Bet it's the only orgasm she's had in years.... FR moderators are killing FR... Look what happens when an FR moderator dumps NEWS into Bloggers...

I am beginning to suspect that canadafreepress.com is just another “front” for the somewhat whacky World Net Daily. Though they get a lot of stuff right, WND lost me on credibility when I started getting tons of daily email wanting to sell “snake oil” type products and stating stuff that just wasn’t factual. Now I have to take with a grain-of-salt anything they say and go check on more reliable sources if I want to believe any of it.

I can go on the web and find the latitude and longitude of a place via the quads which are a mapping system. No real need to go into the field except to check. Have done this stuff for years.!!

FEMA (Flood Management) is also now requesting GPS data....EITHER in the field or from the web (quads).
