They call it the patriot act. It is suppose to help protect citizens. It is supposed to be used as a tool to assist law enforcement in determining who and who is not a threat to the U.S. It was meant to be an aid, in protecting the Freedoms that all American have.
But there is nothing patriotic about how a bunch of law enforcement idiots have misused it to come down on a 16 year old citizen from North Carolina.
They determined that Ashton Lundeby was a threat due to information they got from the net that was supposed to have come from his system, but in reality did not. It was later determined, that his system was used a one of many false links to mislead these pea brained idiots. And it worked. Somewhere there is someone who is guilty of whatever it was that they thought this kid did, and he, or she, is having a really good laugh.
But authority figures don’t like
