There have been some serious allegations made so it's time to lay everything out. Last Friday, a bankruptcy attorney named Tom Lauria charged that the Obama administration was trying to strong arm his clients into accepting a restructuring deal for Chrysler. This followed up another report in which the White House was openly trying to demonize the hedge funds that were holding out on the Chrysler restructuring deal it had orchestrated

With a flash of anger Thursday morning, President Barack Obama offered a blistering critique of “a small group of speculators” who refused to go along with the government’s plan to keep Chrysler out of bankruptcy.

Why is there any question about the veracity of Thomas Lauria's charges? 0bama did exactly what he is accused of threatening to do. He publically attempted to start a smear campaign in the media.
