Sorry, but no. Olberman is an idiot, and nothing the representative said was inaccurate or insensitive. The Matthew Shepard murder was about robbery and drugs. The fact that the perps used his homosexuality to lure him into the robbery does not make it a hate crime. It was a brutal crime, but the perps were brought to justice under existing laws for the brutal crime. The sexual orientation of the victim makes no difference and should not be grounds for having a different level of protection under the law than some other class of victim.
Keith Obamafan then sinks even lower in his diatribe when he suggests that the Congresswoman is a liar. Nothing she said could be construed as a lie, given the FACTS regarding the Shepard murder that have been made public over the past several years.
To top it off, Obamafan decides to take a parting shot at President Bush by including a snide comment about how many days it has been since the "former President declared 'mission accomplished' in Iraq" even though this vile, hate-mongering sycophant for the left knows full well that Bush never said any such thing. Olberman is either more woefully ignorant and misinformed than most middle-school children or he is a vitriolic bald-faced liar.
