Ever the glittering jewel of colossal ignorance, Nancy Pelosi wasted no time yesterday crowing about her newfound ability (thanks to Specter's defection in the Senate) to ram anything and everything they want through Congress, without having to explain anything to anybody. After all, Democracy is sometimes a pain in the neck to deal with, what with the idiot voters demanding to know what is being done to them and all.

If the Crooked Party had to move one of its main crooks over to the Democratic Party, it must mean it is now having troubles controlling the Democratic Party.

In California, the frequent playing of crowing by San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsome that gay marriage was going to come, no matter what folks wanted, was enough to swing the passage of Proposition 8. People are listening—and recording.
