79 year old five term Pennsylvania traitor Arlen Specter is the first casualty of the 2010 house cleaning. Never in US history, has the anti-incumbent sentiment been so broad and deep among frustrated American patriots who still believe in Life, Liberty and the Right to individually define and pursue Happiness.

Ninety-nine days of the second most unpopular administration in US history, was all the people were willing to endure. The clarion call for real patriotic "change" has come from Main Street America, and the Tax Day Tea Parties have forced the first faux Republican out of their party.

After years of voting Democrat, and facing certain defeat in his bid to retain his Republican Senate seat in 2010, Arlen Specter, often referred to by American patriots as "Arlen Sphincter," for his stinking voting record, has finally decided to run for a sixth term under the party banner which he has consistently voted with...

Unfortunately, the conservative GOP is becoming more and more outnumbered every day with the influx of millions of third world socialist-leaning voters, both legal and illegal.

The GOP can purge its lib RINOs all it wants, and we will still not have the numbers to overtake the growing commune-statist-socialists who vote Democrat and dream of having the federal govt. pay for everything they want.

I understand your concern. But 50M registered voters didn’t show up last election. There’s a conservative majority out there, imo- we just have to lead. We have to give them a real choice.

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Individuals like Specter who may have started out with some conservative principles have continuously shifted to the left. He calls himself a moderate but what I find with “moderates” of his sort is that they are generally no such thing. They decry “social issues” claiming they don’t care so much about them when in fact they care very much about them. He claims to be personally against abortion but voted against parental rights to know that an underage child is being ferried away to have an abortion in another state. That is hardly a moderate position. I hope he enjoys his short lived home. The GOP should attack him on his stimulus vote. Don’t let him drag around like a spurned moderate. His time is up.

There were Republicans who didn’t show out for McCain, I don’t think many in that 50M saw the stark choice you did.

My view is that the Dems have misjudged the “crisis that’s too good to waste”. The crisis is still unfolding, and there are many who will respond to the crisis in the polling place in 2012—if there’s a coherent “originalist” message.

Are they voting for the 2000-08 GOP ‘big government” party— or- are we back to the Founders America? If the latter, I think they show up.

But, I’m usually wtrong...you’re probbably right. -:)

I agree Vin. John McLame wasn’t much of a choice (Bob Dole redux....aka: “it was my turn” syndrome). The GOP was acting like Democrats and leadership was lacking. And Bush was just a disaster who couldn’t put two words together.

At least get Sarah out of it.
