Rasmussen-->America Does Not Want Investigation of Enhanced Interrogation
Rasmussen/ The Lid ^ | 4/23/09 | The Lid

Barack Obama continues his record as the Teflon President. A new Rasmussen survey reports that America is not happy with the President's release of the CIA memos but they think that that he is doing a great job in foreign policy.

The study reflects the public's perception the memo release will hurt national security and will NOT help the United State's reputation abroad. But the big news is that by a 58-28% margin, Americans do not want the Obama administration to waste time on an investigation of the Bush administration's treatment of terrorists:

“... but they think that that he is doing a great job in foreign policy.”

That’ll change. BHO will continue to project weakness, and HRC won’t stand in his self-destructive way.

Why don’t these A-Holes ever call ME?

I’d like to give them a piece of MY mind!

I think they just sit in a little room and dream it all up...

This poll finding won’t even slow Obama and his liberal lynch mob down. He and his cronies don’t care what the 58% of Americans think. The hard-core left wants revenge against Bush and Cheney in the worst way.

It does not matter what the people want....this is not about the will of the people, it's about demonizing the opposing party.

It is simply a means to the desired end of a 1 party country.

WTF?....Who the hell are they polling?...mental patients? Both issues involve foreign policy! Americans are so stupid they deserve Obama!

The bottom line is:

What CHOICE do we have, at this point?

When there are Congressional challengers to those who support Obama, in Congress, THEN opinion numbers for Obama and for Obama’s policy will begin to track each other.

Yes, there is some buyers’ remorse.

However, Pride and psychology will dictate that many will be slow to repudiate their decisions.

First, the Obama yard signs came down, then the bumper stickers came off the cars, then they stop watching liberal political shows, finally, many will stop sticking up for the “One” and take a passive mode in political debate.

A few of them will turn, publicly, against Obama, but we do not need that to happen in massive numbers.

We just need about 3% of the electorate, who voted FOR Obama, with misgivings, to quietly shift their views.

That will happen. At the very LEAST, that will happen.

I’m flummoxed over this one. I fail to see how anyone with half a brain and an ounce of patriotism could be pleased with zer0’s “America Sucks” world tour. Maybe I missed something — what again has he actually accomplished to deserve a sentiment that he’s doing such a “great job??”

“then the bumper stickers came off the cars”

Unfortunately not here in increasingly liberal Virginia — I still see them all over the place.

The more this administration pursues this investigation, the weaker our intelligence community gets as they will be afraid of doing their jobs properly and the more dangerous it becomes for the next terrorist attack. We as a country should use whatever means necessary to protect ourselves including whatever is necessary to get intelligence from those who want to do us harm. Closing Gitmo, releasing excerpts of memos detailing our interrogation techniques and chasing ghosts by pursuing investigations of Bush era operatives is like giving prisoners the keys to the jail and the permission to leave. We will be hit. Al Qada have told us they want to kill us. These actions only makes it easier for the terrorists and makes us weak in the world community. I pray that we won’t be hit but it is only a matter of time.

You wouldn't give them the answer they're being paid to get.
My guess is the invoice for this poll isn't going to be sent to a Conservative. The left lives and dies by polls. They're testing the waters.

I was at a community 9/12 meeting last night and the comment was made: that unfortunately, the sleeping majority will sleep until that happens. Very sad

However, Pride and psychology will dictate that many will be slow to repudiate their decisions.

All they need is one good excuse to justify their repudiation, and they'll be fleeing from the dark side en mass.
Oboma WILL screw up on a national level sooner rather than later. It hasn't even been 100 days, and already the "silent" majority is taking a stand ( and that's unprecedented).

The MSM told them to be pleased. They haven't had a chance to think for themselves yet.
Don't worry. It'll add up and they'll start figuring it out. It's not like the Oboma disaster is hidden from anyone who chooses to see.

Oh go ahead and do it anywise. It’s not like BHO and Co. pay any attention to what the American people want/don’t want anywise.
