Shep Smith gets all worked up about "torture" in this conversation on Fox News' webcast. "America does not f***ing torture," he yells. I think we can all agree on that, Shep. The issue is how we define torture. Of course, that may be meaningless to good ol' Shep... who has been rumored to complain that he is being "tortured" when his pancake makeup starts itching his face. Shrewd contractual negotiation strategy or just a simple political outburst by the Fox anchor? We'll report. You decide.

Alan Dershowitz of all people is the one who seems to get it right.
Do what you have to do and keep your mouth shut about it.
Shep’s upset about gay marriage-his own!
Hey Shep.....
If we don’t F**king torture.....
How do we explain your show????
Time to move Shep out and put Beck in his place. Beck’s ratings always beat him anyway, and Beck’s on at 5 (or 2 Pacific.) Who knows what Beck’s ratings would be if his show was aired at a “reasonable” time.
While I enjoy Beck and barely can tolerate Shep even with the sound on, that won’t happen. Shep is the one who draws in the young *hip* demographic that watches FNC, but isn’t even moderate. FNC needs those eyeballs.
Beck is the daytime sop to those of us who have questions we want answered in public. He also could, perhaps, change some minds and hearts among those who only watch him because they think he is extreme, if not a train wreck in progress. I think his time slot is about the only one they could have given him that is earlier than 10pm Central. The slot between Cavuto and the nightly news maximizes the entire 4pm-10pm Central block for them.
In asending to his morally elevated position on torture he admits he is amoral in his personal dealings. “I’ve got a lawyer. I can tell my lawyer do this for me. Just do it. And it gets done.”
How cavilearly they slander these lawyers, heroes in my opinion, by calling them mindless puppets of the CIA. Just like Smith’s mindless puppets he sends out to do God knows what.
I never liked Smith. I never tuned him in. Now I will actively tune him out.
Shep was in the Green Monster seats at Fenway three years ago. He had a tray full of beers. He was shattered.

Where I live, Mountain Lions occasionally raid our goat herds...protected species...lots of bulls..t paperwork to trap or kill them...we go by the three “S”s rule now. SHOOT, Shovel,Shut Up, Works for us...
Glenn always outperforms Shep w/the younger demographic...here’s an example from Tuesday, the 21st in the 25-54 demographic:
Beck: 615
Baier: 440
Shep: 474
O’Reilly: 725
Hannity: 653
Greta: 561

“SHOOT, Shovel,Shut Up, Works for us...”
I like that!! A real shovel-ready project that works! ;-)
Just thought of something. Shep is opposed to torture, but he seemed to have no problem with the fact he ran down someone with his car in Tallahassee, 2000, because he was irritated.
This idiot should be limited to segments like “Around The World in 80 Seconds” and various other light-hearted stuff. On more serious matters, he’s dangerously stupid.
Fox really does need to buy a new channel to display all the talent they have lined up. Perhaps they can buy up MSNBC pretty cheap in a few months.
Saying the F-word on air = bad career move
I wondered why they placed in that time slot. I think if they moved him his ratings would grow, Beck is funny.
A few years ago he had his J-Lo, oral sex miscue on air.
