But he is RIGHT. We don’t “torture”. The things that the left calls torture are not even close to the real thing.

If they need a sample of the real thing, just put them in with me, handcuffs, a baseball bat and a blowtorch for about two minutes.

“I do not care if it works!”

That’s great, feeling good about not ‘torturing’ terrorists is more important to him than actually stopping said terrorists from killing people. What an idiot.

If what the CIA did was torture, our 6th grade playground in the ‘50s would be in real trouble.

I happened to see this in a patients room. I didn’t see the F word part. Ol Sheppie had the vapors for sure.

I am becoming convinced that the whole “waterboarding” thing was a ruse. Does anyone truly think that we would still be using a technique we were basically using during the Philippine Insurrection?

Twilight anesthetics that are commonly used in surgery today often end up with people babbling so many secrets that operating room staffs have to sign non-disclosure agreements. And patients have no memory of the surgery after. You feel pain, but you do not remember it.

So just two drugs: a twilight drug, and an endorphine blocker, that turns off the body’s natural pain killing chemicals, and a terrorist would experience something like three days worth of cold turkey heroin withdrawl in a couple of hours. He wouldn’t even try to lie, or you could touch him with a feather that would feel like a hot iron.

And then he would wake up and remember nothing. So do it two or three times, because even if he lied once, he wouldn’t remember the lie or would mess up the details.

Waterboarding is like sending soldiers into combat with spears.

Shep is just a little too light in the loafers to speak with authority on anything ... except, perhaps, show tunes.

But I’m really, really, really confused. Isn’t watching one hour of Shepard Smith exclusively against the Geneva Convention?

Dear Shep:

No matter how hard you try, you will never equal Geraldo.

Give up.

Shep should be replaced. By Miss California.

Tomorrow would be good.

He seemed pretty emotional, and definitely believes in the part of American exceptionalism that says the USA is duty-bound to be morally squeaky-clean. No gray areas.

Did anyone see him saying this at the end of the other clip? “If we are going to be Ronald Reagan’s Shining City on the Hill, we don’t get to torture.”

Thoughts? Reagan definitely believed in good vs. evil: I don’t see this stance as being against conservatism?

My condo broker is the same on who sold Shep his East village apartment. She said Shep is not only a gay ho-bag (many boyfriends and shouting/fights in his apt.), but also prone to violent hissy fits. She said he attended the condo close (a rarity for celebs), and threw several tantrums over trivial matters. Everyone was taken aback. And remember how Shep was arrested in Florida in 2000 for running over a woman reporter over a parking space. Shep was charged with aggravated battery for causing her injuries, and FoxNews paid her an “undisclosed sum”. I am amazed his career survived that. I don’t think it will survive much longer after this.
