"Where is she heading? She is going to get her own reality show, not the White House," said John Feehery, a Republican consultant. "There a lot of big challenges in this country and how can she handle them if she can barely handle her own family?"
And there we have it those powerful Republican circles, none more influential than John Feehery. Mr Feehery was, of course, a staffer for former House Speaker Dennis Hastert, who endorsed Mitt Romney last year. Though retired from politics he is still the Don Corleone of the GOP, a man who can make or break any aspiring politician with a mere flicker of his eyelid. Hastert also had no trouble handling his own family, especially his lobbyist son Joshua... Feeherys connection with Hastert also makes him an expert on electioneering just ask all those Republican candidates who disinvited Hastert from campaign appearances on their behalf in the 2006 election.
Yes, nobody better placed to give an opinion on Governor Palin than a Beltway lobbyist who blogs for CNN Politics and tells Republicans they can only beat Obama by liking him...

John Feehery, a Republican consultant.
What the hell has this light weights contributed to the GOP or more importantly the Conservative cause?
Stick to your guns Sarah, better to go down in flames as an honest person practicing what you preach, unlike the other liars (such as the media).
These people are repunant, Pissant.
How can humans be so out of touch?
Ferget it. Don’t answer that.
Shoot, Zero’s family belongs in Weekly World News!
The fact that she doesn’t have the full backing of the beltway GOP is a blessing. Actually, the RNC and GOP need Palin more than she needs them. She can raise money, has a large enough following, and is capable of mobilizing a significant ground force without their help. Can you imagine someone like Pawlenty running in 2012, he’d be stuck with the public financing because he wouldn’t be able to raise enough money, the same for Huckabee, probably Romney, Jindal, Sanford and the rest who have been mentioned. Palin is the only one who could raise enough money to at least have a fighting chance ad and organization wise.
Well if Sarah chose to leave the party I would leave with her. Laugh at that you morons.
“Laugha while you can, monkey boys!”
The reason she isn’t taken seriously is because she did not show up at CPAC nor did she respond to the GOP fundraiser invitation.
Wouldn’t that be beltway rinos?
Sure you know. We all know. Just nobody wants to say it. For about ten years the GOP has beeen a headless snake twisting and coiling in upon itself with no idea where to go or what to do. Bush failed. McCain failed. And Steele by all appearances will fail as well.
Until the GOP gets a serious leader it will be saying to its disappointed members and donors, "What did you expect? You knew I was a snake when you fed and supported me!"
Feehery worked with Robert Michel, Denny Hastert, and Tom DeLay. A real lineup of winners there, eh? And this moron wants to dictate who’s going to try to clean up the mess that his masters made? Maybe he’d be better off giving his support to his Dem/RINO lords like Specter, Snowe, Graham, and McCain. I’m sure they’re impressed with his background. As for the rest of us... John who? Keep your resume updated buddy, you’re going to need it.
HECK YEAH..Keep fighting Sarah.!! Whenever someone says something nasty about my girl, I go on SarahPac and send her 25 bucks..Just did so today and boy did it feel good. I’d imagine the site probably made 1-2 million bucks..That outta shut up the bastards that dare smear her. I don’t give a rats ass about Beltway Republicans, the average Joe, the woman who lives in rural Nebraska, the man living in Idaho working 2 jobs to make ends meet, those are the ones that support Sarah because they see her as one of them..We gotta throw these RINO bastards out and fast otherwise we are doomed for failure. It’s bad enough having to fight the Dems, but now we gotta fight within our own party to throw out the trash it’s beyond sad
“The fight right now needs to center on getting rid of rino’s”
That’s what primaries are for.
So true.
Organize and take over. The tea party movement.
This kind of thinking is why I will not give one nickel to the GOP in the next round. I’ll make a few selective donations to particular candidates, possibly including a Democrat or two, but the party won’t be distributing any of my money to Specter-Collins-Snowe & Company. Palin I’ll gladly support for 2012, but not the GOP unless there are some huge changes between now and then.
The GOP won’t likely miss my individual contribution -— I’m not a big donor. But there are millions of like-minded people out there.
if she can barely handle her own family?”
*******
Reagans family was far from perfect.
As i said in another post, Palin has more cujones than any republican out there in the field. You see this idiot talked about Palin’s family problems but you really want to know the difference? Beltway Republican brass just sweep the problems under the rug.
Why should she?
