It is time to unleash hell on the National Republican party establishment. We need to "blacklist" any Republican who speaks out against Governor Palin is an unfair way. We can put their name on a "wall of shame". and actively seek to defeat them in GOP primaries or undermine them in any way possible.
It is time to get nasty. These are the kind of tactics that got President Obama the nomination and ultimately the Presidency in 2008. It it time we take notes and play the same game.
And we need to play their game in a general election. We need to dig up trash on the Democrats and go after them as they have us.
We have so many resources at our finger tips. It is time to use them in a more effective way.
“Got tea?”
If it’s not coffee, it’s not worth boiling water for!
Do we risk devolving this into a “tastes great”!
Less filling!
I pray that`s not the outcome, but ???
Wake me up 30 days before the Iowa caucus.
ROFL.
That was fast. What do you have that in a script. Wow.
(tips hat)
Thanks! But I just used Google images. Amazing what turns up there.
put me on the list. sorry, she’s not the real deal.
People who say things like that give me a pain. Who in the hell are you to make such a pronouncment? If you want to go live in Stepford where teens never get into trouble with the law or make stupid decisions, and everybody is nice and tame, you go ahead and live in that bubble -- it's a free country. That's the point.
Then there are the individualists, the free thinkers, the moral independent live-and-let-live producers, who chose to live lives you would no doubt disapprove. They raise their kids differently than you raise yours. They take chances you would never take. They love and live and adventure through life with a kind of passion you would never trust. That's fine -- you're you, and they're them.
But I guarantee you, if you think the Palin family is "tawdry," you have lived a very safe and sheltered life -- sheltered from passion, freedom, risk, loving the least among us and having compassion for them, and the right to make mistakes and learn by them on your own terms, done between you and God. You sound like someone who has lived by others' terms, and nothing has happened between you and God that wasn't thoroughly vetted by folks like you FIRST.
"Tawdry" -- what a jackass you are. If you think the family is tawdry, KEEP IT TO YOURSELF and remember that you don't know "tawdry" from a tamale.
And nattering Church Ladies are, unfortunately, nattering Church Ladies.
Get a life and get out more. "There but for the grace of God ..." Or does its meaning escape you?
What ? What is wrong with being a Christian ? should Christians stay out of politics ?
111 comments and no pics! RULZ!
‘... the family life of the Alaskan first family is, sadly, rather tawdry.”
Hehe, thats just the current MSM talking point, its rubbish.
Its a great self made family. Its not perfect, thank god. Who really cares about Bristol’s pregnancy, boyfriend - certainly not her christian supporters, why should you?
Another protoplasm blob who denies anything spiritual in a human. Why should I care what a disposable piece of tissue has to say about the universe? Go degenerate to a speck of dust will ya...
Sorry...don’t need it. Try again earth speck.
Yeah, we need a blacklist. Palin is a target of some GOP/conservatives. Its business as usual, from a party thats currently devoid of direction and engaged in back stabbing.
Its not just Palin, but she is under constant attack more constantly by the Dems, and is being undermined within the GOP ... due to personal ambitions, maintaining the staus quo/establishment, and the fear she will determine the GOP’s future direction.
8 years of Obama will ruin this country, and could leave the GOP in the wilderness for many years after that .... think fairness doctrine, citizenship for illegals.
So, can we afford this type of business as usual politics this time round? Palin is potentially someone who could stop that in 2012. Lets make sure she’s not undermined from within.
Your tagline tells a lot about you -- not that you reject TV shows like "American Idol," but that you choose the topic for your tagline. You seem to identify yourself entirely on how others will perceive you; other people control your life because what they think of you dominates your assessment of yourself. Hence you stupidly and meanly and pettily presume that your own perceptions of Palin as "mystic" (what in the hell does that mean, I wonder? I know you won't be able to answer) and her family as "tawdry" are pertinent, when in truth, your emotion-driven perceptions are revealing in the extreme of your own insecurities.
I haven't had cable for at least 25 years and when I was single, didn't even own a TV; the only reason we have one now is so we can watch videos and DVDs; when I've been assigned to do celebrity things, I've had to research about 90 percent of the celebs and pretend that I've heard of him/her so it doesn't hurt his/her feelings. But being so utterly out-of-step with, and indifferent to, pop culture, does not define how I view myself nor does it dictate how I think I'm superior to others, as your tagline clearly implies YOU think you're superior to "average" people. You must be a piece of work, and I'll bet you're not very popular.
You sound, frankly, like a prissy pain in the patoot. I bet a lot of people tolerate you and snicker at you behind their hands.
Also, Palin needs to tone down the religious rhetoric, she is running for office not pastor in chief. All the haters are going after her for this reason alone...it's too much for them, it makes them foam at the mouth.
It's time that Christians and Jews and any another defender of religious freedom stand up for themselves and our Constitution.
When that happens, the militant fascists will be exposed for what they are. We need to go after the media and the schools that propagate this bigotry toward religion. No more free passes. They want to play hardball...it's time to stop turning the other cheek.
Trust me...I don't want a theocracy, my ancestors fled from one but the pendulum has swung too far the other way. You try to institute a theocracy and I will turn 180 degrees in the opposite direction and every person who declares themselves to be a speck of dust will have me at their back.
Bottom line...Palin is not the Savior of our country...the only thing that will save religious freedom in this country is if people stop being so smug and complacent...Palin can't do it for you!
If she tones down the rhetoric and concentrates more on holding office she will have a much better shot than any "defense" she could get from others. Yes...I know, the media spins everything...that is what we have and that is what we have to deal with.
So defend away, but remember, no one said this freedom stuff was easy and it will take everyone making lots and lots of changes, not just one person.
God Bless Sarah.
