The Tea Party concept was, by any rational measure (which, of course, precludes any acknowledgment of any ramblings of Janeane Garofalo or Keith Olbermann), an overwhelming success, leaving many to wonder what to do next.
I've mentioned before that some are talking about organizing additional Tea Parties, perhaps on July 4.
But I think I like this guy's idea. A march on Washington. If we could get a couple hundred thousand people (which, by the way, would probably be enough to call it a Million Person March, if history means anything) to gather on the Mall, I think we can send a very strong message that we mean business.
The Tea Parties were great, but they won't mean a thing if we fail to capitalize on the momentum that was generated by them.

Folks in Atlanta ought to do something at CNN Center or wherever those rats hang their hats these days...maybe invite Susan Roesgen to be a Guest Speaker, so rather than yell in peoples faces she’ll have her chance to tell everyone what SHE thinks. Heck it might even be reported on the Commie News Network. We’re fair and balanced right? (Hint that might be a good sign to have in the background, just as a reminder of the network that wouldn’t give her a job, twice).
I don’t think “marching” does much good. It’s a costly use of resources. Marches are dependent on media coverage and we know how that turns out. Calling and writing congress persons and putting pressure on the media when they are unfair is a less expensive and and usually more effective way of getting their attention. Unfortunately, for this to work, email lists would need to be compiled and the way this statist admin is going, an email list could end up placing people on Big O’s terrorist watch list.
I like it. I would definitely go.
I still like the idea of continuing with the Tea Parties, as well as throwing in these huge special events. This shouldn't be just a blip. Otherwise it will be forgotten. We need to apply constant pressure.
That would be sweet.
What really needs to occur is a district by district numerical assessment of dems who won by small margins or currently poll with small margins. Then, some of us in heavy rep. districts could voluntarily re-locate to the dem district and vote them out. (of course leaving behind enough votes to keep the rep in office in our old district.)
Sorry, but what will be necessary is a thirty million man march on DC, to remove 535 members of congress, 1 acting president, 1 moronic VP and (unfortunately) all 9 members of the court. We might then be able to reclaim our nation and our rights.

While I would like that more than anything, it's not going to happen right now. That why maintaining awareness and educating people are important right now.
We're going to have Zero for a season, he may start that 30M man march with his ill-placed words. If not Zero, I'm sure Hillary would try for an all out dictatorship. I think it's a matter of when, not if.

How about a Memorial Day and July 4th Tea parties? I’ll attend.
Check out the tea party they had in Tennessee in 1946 when 1500 armed citizens took their town back from a corrupt government. Called the battle of Sparta.

I think the NRA is planning a march for Spring of 2010. Pro-gun folks along with the rest of conservatives, libertarians & right-thinking Independents should be able to amass such a crowd. If it goes off, my sweetie & I plan on driving our motor home east for the event.

As for the time, The million man march that took place a few years age took over 2 years to organize, we are trying to push this through as fast as we can.
To protest in DC you have to have a permit and have approval to use a certain piece of land.
We called ahead of filing for these things. September 12 &13 were the next available days they had.
The other organization, resistnet.com, which was putting together a march for May 30, didn’t do this so they were refused their permit. Now they are joining with our group. So, we are doing this absolutely as soon we can.
To have a successful march takes time and organization.
Why are we protesting ?
1. To get the attention of the mainstream media.
2. To demand That Obama Provide proof that he is eligible to be president.
3. To demand that Congress and the Supreme court uphold our constitution.
4. To inform the public on the issue of Obama’s ineligibility to be president of the USA.
5. To demand that they can not take our constitutional rights away.
PRESIDENT OBAMA, WE DEMAND THAT YOU BE TRANSPARENT NOW
We will come together in a peaceful rally.
We are proud Americans who fear that we are losing the America we all know and love.
