We still have a chance to not fail in our historic opportunity to turn this nation back to its roots. Unfortunately, many people think the activities of April 15, 2009, have done just that, but they are wrong. Simply attending a TEA Party, even several TEA Parties, is not going to move Washington.
What needs to happen, if were going to move Washington, is this: We must organize into Action Groups to first take back our party Precinct Meetings in an overwhelming majority of the precincts in the nation, then advance that effort to the State level. That will not require an overwhelmingly large number of new participants in each precinct, but it will require an overwhelming amount of effort and political, as well as psychological, smarts.
The reason for this is that many of the party leaders, even at the precinct level, understand how to employ meeting room techniques that can divide us, and force us to vote for one of two bad options that both favor the leaders intentions for party control.
If youll research, either on the Internet or in your local library, the subject of the Delphi Technique, also known as the Delphi Method, youll begin to learn how to take our country back for the sake of our children and our grandchildren.
One location on the Internet that provides an overview of the technique as well as an overview of how to counter it, is here:
http://www.learn-usa.com/transformation_process/acf001.htm
Here is another:
http://www.vlrc.org/articles/110.html
There are even more specifics here:

If many of us are aware of this technique and how to defeat it, we will have a much better chance of defeating the Enemies of our Republic.
So, if nobody in your area is already organizing an effort to take back your local party precinct, then why dont you do it? Really, why dont you do it? Ask yourself if the thing or things that are blocking you from doing this are more important than taking back our nation and restoring our Republic.
(And, yes, I am taking my own advice, with the help of a few other like-minded patriots.)
There are many millions of people interested in taking our country bask. All they are waiting for is leadership.
bask = back
Our Tea Party “organizers” are already setting up a board to plan our next moves. I’ll check out your links to consider implementing. The lady that started ours in Arlington, Tx, began only three weeks ago. We had Congressman Joe Barton and Governor Rick Perry show up. If we keep on going and building, D.C. has no choice but to listen.
I know there are a substantial number of FReepers who have been taking the lead, or at least assisting at the precinct level for years now. We need their wisdom now more than ever.
I’m hoping many of them will post on this thread to help get us moving in the right direction.
agreed....if yesterday was a one-off situation we lose....it need to be a movement....
we also need to start “Code Pinking” these networks who want to mock us...this means going to live broadcasts by CNN/MSNBC/ABC/etc w/signs about the oppressive taxation being placed upon us....I was part of one of the most famous one’s w/Protest Warrior at the today show (http://hq.protestwarrior.com/?page=/featured/NYC/operation_bias_check.php)- Operation Bias Check, and it sent shockwaves for a while....
The creation and organization of groups of like minded individuals is of vital importance, especially given the would-be dictator who occupies the White House. American patriots—those who believe in the rights and liberties of the individual as set down in the Constitution and the Declaration—currently have no method of real communication. The occasional posting of comments on a site like Free Republic is all well and good, but somehow we must begin the process of organizing tens of millions for the upcoming battle to reclaim our rights.
It's not going to come from the Republican Party, they are weak, scared and toothless.
It's not going to come from elected national officials, current or former office holders. Current office holders are only worried about getting reelected, former office holders most likely want to be elected again, or have been tainted by holding office.
An opportunity now exists, but I see no one stepping up. Does anyone?
Regards,
AR
What can we do? What are your ideas?
I salute all those who went out for the Tea Parties. And I approve of grass roots movements as long as they are in the interest of our country and our people, but leadership is not achieved by committee alone, it takes a clear vision, and core values and the ability to PROJECT those things.
I think that guys like Newt see the lack of leadership and will try to fill that void, but Newt is not the guy.
Who is the guy (or woman perhaps)? I have no clue, but I know that he or she is out there.
As for leadership, leaders are those who can attract followers. Don't wait for someone else. Figure out what you can do, and start doing it. If you attract followers, you're a leader.
I agree to a point that leaders attract followers, but that’s not all they do.
In order to lead, you have to be able to define leadership, and that’s alot harder than it would seem.
When you understand your personal defination of leadership, then you must align your core values, and those values must be strong. If they are not, then you get what we have in congress. A bunch of big mouth, flip-floppers who suck up to the voters, then change and call it “bipartisanship”. It leaves the voters exactly where we find ourselves right now. I give you the Republican party as an example.
The real leader we need is someone with strong conservative values, who can not only attract followers, but get the message out.
