Is a Democrat running in the Nevada GOP primary?
(Excerpt) Read more at blogs.myspace.com ...
GOP just trying to cover all the bases?
You folks need to find another Paul Laxalt.
Bob Cashell is all over the map. He was elected as a Dem Lt Governor in 1982 and switched parties 7 months in. He’s been the Mayor of Reno since 2003. If Dingy Harry is doing a fundraiser for him, he’s highly suspect. But Gibbons isn’t exactly respectable himself. He refused to run against his buddy Harry for the Senate, instead choosing to go for Governor where he has been a complete disaster. If Gibbons is renominated, he will lose handily to any Dem running.
We need to run former State Sen. Bob Beers. He’s the Tom McClintock of Nevada. The Dems went all out to defeat him in ‘08 when the False Messiah swept LV/Clark County and he lost, and we lost the State Senate (thanks a lot, Gibbons).
just be sure you defeat dingy harry.... ty
“If Dingy Harry is doing a fundraiser for him, hes highly suspect. “
No HE’s doing a fundraiser for Harry! Blech.
Do you know anything about former Senator Heck and North Las Vegas mayor Montandon?
A rat senator from North Vegas switched parties in 2002. Things were looking up in Nevada then.
Any chance to get Kenny Guinn to run against Reid? It is in excusable to let a vulnerable RAT like Reid go free.
No, not that much, I’m afraid.
Guinn, first of all, is too old. He’ll be 74 in 2010 (same age as McCain). Secondly, he went out of his way to thumb Conservatives in the eye. He rammed the largest tax increase (as a percentage) of ANY American state in U.S. history through early in his 2nd term. He’s a fiscal liberal RINO. I’m amazed he managed not to eviscerate the GOP on his watch, but his equally odious and even more destructive RINO successor, Jim Gibbons, certainly has.
