Here is video of former New York Gov. Elliot Spitzer being interviewed this morning on The Today Show by Matt Lauer. This is one of Spitzer's first public appearances since his resignation in disgrace last year over his involvement in a prostitution scandal. Spitzer says there are "no excuses" for his behavior. He is supposedly coming forward now because he also wants to weigh in on the U.S. Financial Crisis. . . . . . (Watch Video)

The fact that this scumbag can even show his face in public goes to show how little dignity ultra-liberals have.

Like they say in Hollyweird, there’s no such thing as bad publicity.

Spitzer was succeeded by a governor even sleazier than he was.

I saw a bit of it.

He's calling for a policy of proactive intervention by the federal government, where they break up any company that grows larger than the policy will allow.

He suggesting that the federal government destroy any healthy growing company that exceeds arbitrary limits the likes of Eliot Spitzer, Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, or Chuck Schumer, etc. set on the level of success they're allowed to achieve.

I'm assuming the federal government will remain the only entity allowed to grow unchecked.

Hey. Paying 20ish girls $1000.00 per hr would stimulate the economy!

This is the first step in his rehabilitation. You assume that liberals (socialists) can feel remorse and shame. Not in their genes. What they have are entitlements because they see themselves as “elite”. Think The Clintoon at the press conference where he declared he “did not have sex with that woman—Monica Lewinsky”. Talk about a moral vacuum.

Every time I look at the man I see him sitting in the Oval Office with Lewinsky’s head in his crotch while he’s talking with some Arab on the phone. Nice image for a US President. Then I think about all those liberal women who took their daughters to Lewinski’s book signing. I guess giving BJs to a president credentials one for celebrity status.

Then I think of Bawny Frank who, we’re told, is one of the smartest guys in the Senate, running a gay prostitution service out of his home and claiming he knew nothing about it. It was all his male companion’s fault.

Then I think of the drunk and philandering Ted Kennedy driving that young girl off a bridge and leaving her to die in the submerged car. And then I think of the people of Massachusettes who keep sending this killer back to the US Senate year after year. And then I think of McCain calling the miserable b****** “The Lion of the Senate”—as if he was not responsible for that girl’s death. Or maybe it just never happened.

And then I think of Murtha caught on tape setting up a potential bribe and the people of Pennsylvania keep sending him back the Congress year after year.

America’s moral compass has been driven from it by the left. I think we will be in the wilderness for a long time.

” The guy was paying a couple of grand a night for a hooker and he wants to weigh in on the financial crisis?! “

I think he negotiated the price.

His suit against AIG was a big flop. He had nothing.

I retain a modicum of hope that a political correction can be achieved without what will amount to be a second American Revolution.

What is discouraging to me is this nonsensical belief by too many so-called conservatives that the way for conservatism to regain relevance is through the GOP. The RINO-led GOP is owned lock, stock and barrel by the demrats. RINOs, by definition, are merely demrats by another name. They even say we must be more like demrats to win.

Have you noticed that Limbaugh and Hannity retain their allegiance to the GOP? If those two, and a few other conservative talk show heavy hitters, would get on our band wagon it would advance the issue.

Until there is a concensus that a new and viable opposition party to the demrats must be formed you and I, my friend, are sheep bleeting in the wilderness.
