ummmmmmmmm why is someone posting this?
Don’t we have enough trouble without someont suggesting we are trying to plant an idea?
It was posted because it was a historically significant event that happened on this day 41 years ago. Have we really come to the place we cannot note events that happened on a certain date?
And on this occasion, let us remember that Reverend Martin Luther King and civil rights organizations were meeting with President Dwight D. Eisenhower and Vice President Richard M. Nixon back in the late 50’s in discussions about how the federal government could help secure equal rights for ALL citizens, this at a time when Democrat governors like Faubus in Arkansas were denying equal rights to black students in Little Rock, and Ike sent the 82nd Airborne to be sure they could go to the school of their choice without threats from the local ‘Rat KKK-types.
It also behooves me to mention that the Civil Rights Act was passed IN SPITE OF opposition from the Democrat Party, and LBJ got that bill passed ONLY with assistance from the Republican Party.
Of course along the way, black voters for the most part have been brainwashed and force-fed the purple Kool Aid mantra of how the Democrat Party is the ‘Party of Equal Rights’, which is the most laughable and damnable lie ever told in these United States.
Civil Rights Act was passed IN SPITE OF opposition from the Democrat Party,Any questions from the hate whitey group?.
